Saab and Saturn together for the bourgeousie - you could put the Saab badge on the compact hatchback Saturn, give it a turbo and charge $4000 more for it and everyone would be happy. An answer to the Volvo hatchback.
Then make the Sky roadster a Saab as well. Call it the Saab Valkyrie!
Then take all the closed Saturn dealerships and convert them into homeless shelters for the unwashed masses who can't afford cars. The cheese and wine crowd will love that!

And seriously could Fiat management really do a worse job of selling iron than the current people? What are sales down, 50% this year?

Nov 8th 2008 9:36AM Yeah this article is absolutely right. This disaster for the Big 2.5 was a loong time coming. It might not get better, either. I would imagine car companies of the future will be much smaller, producing electric and or hybrid vehicles with a lot of the components outsourced to smaller contracting companies.

Nov 4th 2008 12:30AM iTunes 8 is very buggy on my Vista laptop, I've just downloaded the Zune software because I'm sick of trying to use the slow and stuttering itunes - it would take forever just to add podcasts and songs to the ipod - I'll probably buy one of the new small 8 gb Zunes soon to replace my old ipod. Apple you've lost a good iTunes customer with that crap Windows version.
