Bare Minerals Makeup: Natural Makeup That's Good for Your Skin {Shopping Articles Blog}
May 26th 2011 11:59PM I have used BE for about 10 years and I LOVE it. I do have very oily skin and this is the only thing I have found in about 50 years of makeup wearing that does not turn orange or bead up from the oil in my skin. I have slept in it--sometimes deliberately--to absorb oil. The eye shadows are great, you can apply with a wet brush (they call it foiling) and, again, it stays on. All of the products are multiple use--interchangeable on cheeks, lips, eyes, etc for the most part. I recommend to anyone with oily skin. It is especially nice for teens because it it so natural looking. Colors in the jars ane much more concentrated/intense than they are when applied. Powders do not count for TSA amounts for travel, another plus. Tiny makeup kit for many days away.

Best airport dining for holiday travel {Gadling}
Nov 22nd 2010 8:57PM Tulsa, OK Little closet-sized self serve (cafeteria if it were a bit larger). Locally owned, the BEST homemade everything. Their bean soup is even better than that served in the US Senate dining room. It is always fresh, service is comfortably friendly, prices are way below what airport food usually sells for and it is so much better.
Gotta agree about the breakfast burritos in ABQ. Get one to go and drive the whole plane absolutely crazy with the smell of their fantastic red chile.
The Most Inappropriate Gifts We've Received {Lemondrop}
Jul 11th 2010 10:50AM My ex of many years gave me a set of four ashtrays for Christmas. I have never smoked and do not permit smoking in my house. They looked like one of those "Gifts Under $10" table display items they have all over stores during the holidays. It seemed that he maybe walked into a store a grabbed the first thing he saw. OR he got it at a gift exchange and decided to re-gift it to get rid of it. He was pretty cheap... They were even too small to use for pet food dishes. The set brought 10 cents at a garage sale.
See Your Way to Great Eyeglass, Vision Bargains -- Savings Experiment {WalletPop}
Jun 3rd 2010 3:06PM local tv station featured eyebuydirect.com so I got my prescription and went on line. Frames and lenses for as low as $8 a pair and these are not 1950's ugly leftovers. You need your prescrip (obviously), your pupil to pupil distance, and a lot of time to make choices. Instead of bifocals, I got a pair of readers and a pair for distance. I have ordered 5 pair now for less than one pair would cost anywhere else. Can happily leave glasses where I use them instead of trying to find them Quality is excellent. Service is fast.
Luxist Giveaway: Hershey's Dark Chocolate {Luxist}
Feb 23rd 2010 7:05PM The brownie cups, definitely. Who can resist brownies and these look to be two bite wonders. Warm, with a bit of ice cream or a glass of cold milk... Special Dark is a real problem--I bring it in to the house and it keeps vanishing.
