Why you should visit National Parks in the off-season {Gadling}

Jan 26th 2010 12:39PM I'm really happy to see big time blogs and media outlets promoting the National Parks. They definitely need the support.

But I think people need to remember to be good visitors to these places, and be stewards for the environment these parks contain. It's really sad to walk around and see all the litter, the graffiti, and the vandalism. And for your own sake, get out of the car! Walk around, get some fresh air! Take the shuttle to places in the parks! or heck, go for a hike!

NYC Hotel introduces guests to life on Lexington Ave. {Gadling}

Jan 26th 2010 12:35PM That's an interesting take on New York living. I certainly would like to try it, but it's totally just living a fantasy! Of course, I only lived in New Jersey, but I worked in NYC. There are really 2 different worlds there!

Another cool hotel to check out though is the Roger Smith Hotel at 501 Lexington. They offer special rates to social media people, especially if you follow RSHotel on Twitter. *I have nothing to do with the hotel, I just think it's cool what they're doing.

Top Ten Reasons that Road Trips Suck {Gadling}

Nov 4th 2009 10:07PM I dunno, all the things you point out as bad, well, yeah, they're part of traveling in general. You could say similar things about air travel, train travel, foot travel. They all have their downsides.

But since I sense a bit of sarcasm here, i'll let you off the hook.
