Third World Expectations in the ´First World´ {Gadling}

Sep 18th 2006 4:33PM I went from Idaho Falls(totally retro town in Idaho) to Salt Lake(where I ended up having to spend the night) to JFK in New York. Then I was going to switch airlines... from Delta to Singapore Air, and fly to Asia..

My bags never arrived at JFK and therefore my 2 week trip around asia looks like one long day from my pictures because I am pretty much wearing the same outfit. It has now been three weeks sense my flight to JFK from Salt Lake, and I have no luggage.. at this point, I hope they don't find it anytime soon, and I just get the money to re-emburse me for all that I have spent on toiletries, undergarments, shoes... shirts... cell phone charger... etc.

I have learned to just check as much as you can, and buy toiletries when you get to wherever you are going... shampoo is a lot less expensive than a new wardrobe.
