Belfast airport now charging for smoking {Gadling}

May 8th 2011 6:49AM I think it's about time they at least acknowledge that smokers have a modicum of rights. Smoking is not illegal and the fact that an area that is self contained protecting others is a good compromise. Charging for it is just another way for airlines to make some money and if smokers want to smoke they will pay the price - at least they have a choice.

Pregnancy Is Not the Public's Business {Politics Daily}

Feb 12th 2010 8:15AM Progressives have put everything on the table for discussion - why not pregnancy? While it is no one's business initially, it becomes everyone's business when the child is born. Fatherless children are more prone to depression, drugs, behavioral problems, poverty and on and on. Many studies confirm this. While it may be the mother's choice to bear the child, it becomes society's burden to help care for him/her. Like all things effecting society, this should be discussed from both sides of the issue. As far as when life begins consider planting a seed. The seed germinates and begins to grow. Just because it hasn/t sprouted above ground does not mean pulling it u is not killing it. If it's growing it's alive. If you stop that growth, you've killed it.

For First Time Under Obama, Majority Says U.S. Is on Wrong Track {Politics Daily}

Oct 29th 2009 8:06AM It absolutely amazes me how so many people can approve of Obama, but disapprove of his policies. He has handed his presidency over to Congress and their approval is in the cellar. The man has inherited problems, but he was elected to solve them. He has accomplished nothing - How can anyone approve of that?
