Plane Answers: Is there a pilot shortage coming? {Gadling}

Oct 28th 2009 6:58PM Hey, thanks for writing this(along with your other posts). I'm 16 and always loved flying. I soled a couple of weeks ago and hope to get my ppl on my 17th birthday. I'm a junior and very much considering a school like ERAU. I'm kind of glad to hear about the 60-65 age because the jobs will be there when I graduate from college. Dissapointed about the ATP stuff, but still keeping my head up. Not sure if you have any expirence with this, but have you ever flown for a charter company like netjets. Do you have an opinion on these companies compared to the big boys?
