My Bloody Romania: First stab at medical tourism {Gadling}

Sep 20th 2007 2:50PM You know, this doesn't sound a whole lot different than when I go to my local rather spartan "Castle Dental" chain office here in Texas, and it's a quarter of the cost.

My Bloody Romania: Bra?ovywood - Give me a sign! Any sign!! {Gadling}

Sep 17th 2007 3:16PM Great post! I'm not sure which is more absurd; the "Hollywood"-ish sign, paying to watch bears or the name "Rolling Stone Hostel," but you sure covered the key info for this town.

The Black Church looks stunning, though.

Theater: Dress Up (or Not) {Gadling}

Sep 15th 2006 11:23AM When in doubt, wear black. Boring maybe, but there's a reason that classic stuff always works. Take either classic khaki chinos or a khaki skirt, put on a black well-made T-shirt, women can add some nice hoop earrings, and voila, you look like a grown-up. Show some respect for your surroundings, even on a budget.
