How I became a modern day nomad, and how you can too {Gadling}

Oct 21st 2009 3:21AM this is something ive dreamed of doing for a long time. im a freshman in college right now and after i graduated high school i wanted to run off and travel immediately. People talk about getting married and starting a family right after we graduate from college, but i dont want to do anything conventional. i dont feel satisfied being stuck in a routine. my friend and i are very artsy and we are hoping to find other people like us and travel around together for as long as we feel like we need to. we dont mind staying in hostels and we would even be opened to just traveling inside the US to start. the only problem is that we are in college and have no established jobs. we dont know how we will be able to make money while we are traveling and we will have some student loans to pay off. any suggestions?
