Oct 6th 2010 1:30PM Is this much different than the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island only hiring 'black' staff? I have a bigger issue with that because of the history involved. But if this new resort doesn't discriminate on who they serve, who cares? It doesn't say that a staff member couldn't wear a wig does it? It's strange, but oddities are what makes the world interesting.

Mar 15th 2010 5:15PM It seems like many of those disagreeing with equal pay are saying women can't do the physical job of men. However, this article is referring mostly to women in non-physical jobs. Sure a woman may not be able to lift the boxes, but that's no reason she can't run the company as well as a man. I personally find this disturbing. However, most of the men in my family say, 'oh those are skewed. So many other factors play a roll. Women just don't want those high paying jobs." etc. Not because they are sexist... they just hate to believe there is such injustice in the world. But not recognizing it, will never fix the problem.
