Jul 1st 2012 11:19AM I found the French to be polite and friendly, not only in Paris but throughout Normandy and Provence as well. One thing not addressed here is the only complaint I have about France: dog poop. The French do love their dogs, and take them along wherever they go. But they never, ever clean up after their dogs, nor take them to the curb or the gutter. You had best keep your eyes on the sidewalk in front of you, rather than gazing around at the beauty of the city.
Aug 17th 2011 9:00PM Her name, which was probably one she chose for modeling purposes, combines the names of two blonde sex symbols of the 1950s, Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield.
Jul 10th 2011 10:42PM You're right. It's a good thing that Ellen is not an out-of-the-closet lesbian, because if she were, she could never host a successful daytime talk show.
Jul 10th 2011 1:42PM I have never seen this TV show. Is there really a human being who is called The Situation? Really?
Jul 3rd 2011 9:12AM WHAT??? Xenia, what on earth are you trying to say?
Jun 16th 2011 10:17PM Unless you for some reason have to pay for the space, why do you care whether or not it's wasted?
Jun 15th 2011 4:13PM And yet....I have so little interest in reading about you.

That would be conscription, and the United States does not (at this time) have a draft. If this is really your belief, then you should contact your Member of Congress and Senators and tell them that you advocate a return to the draft.
Delta made a dumb mistake and should give refunds immediately to the soldiers on that flight instead of issuing an awkward statement about miscommunication and inconvenience. All airlines which carry returning service members should work with the Pentagon to establish and maintain procedures regarding transportation of troops, and should educate their employees accordingly.
Jun 6th 2011 2:51PM Where in the heck is Sharon Stone in these pictures or the story?
Jun 6th 2011 12:57PM Suggest an important news story you'd like to discuss. Recent news from the IMF? A rising death toll of American soldiers in Afghanistan? The incredibly large number of tornados this year, and the damage and deaths they have caused? The Republicans scrambling to find candidates for 2012? Books on the NY Times Best-seller List? The continuing debacle in the housing market, caused by sub-prime loans a few years back?
I'd be happy to hear your views on any of the above. On the other hand, since you bothered to read this story, perhaps you are also interested in the mundane, as are most of us.
