Vengeful Pachederms {Gadling}
Feb 20th 2006 1:43PM I used to deliver a product on a daily basis to Disney's Animal Kingdom, basically to the Elephant compound. I got to know some of them pretty well after some time. It turns out that even with the females as well as the males, there were certain people(handlers) each elephant liked or disliked. One particular female was quite adept at doing a 180 degree "Kung Fu" swing on one leg! I've even heard of a handler at another zoo who had his two front teeth knocked out from a swing of the Elephants tail. Formidable animals indeed!

Dec 30th 2005 9:58AM gee, i thought it was pretty common knowledge that man made up god and not vice versa....always a wonderment to me. These are adults! wow....then again i read a new poll that shows a full 20% of americans were unaware that the earth revolves around the sun.....amazing...nice travel blog...keep up the good work
