Jul 24th 2012 2:37PM It's little wonder why people don't want to travel anymore, especially international flights and border crossings by land. We see two gentlemen taking gifts to their families. It's been long understood that certain perishables cannot be taken across international boundaries. Travel authorities see the potential that the eggs may carry contamination, which is entirely possible, but to me, still goes to the extreme. With all good intentions understood, toys and other gifts don't have to be edible.

Jun 3rd 2011 5:08PM Gunsmoke was, without a doubt, the finest of television programing. James Arness made it so with his impressive acting and with him was a perfect cast of characters. Gunsmoke also had some very memorable storylines which some of us will never forget. The article indicates that Jim placed emphasis on the storyline, not just the fact that he was the marshall, an admirable and unselfish trait for an actor.
Gunsmoke will be remembered as one of the premier programs in the lives of a lot of people and James Arness will keep that memory alive forever.
