I ordinarily refrain from expressing any negative comments about anything, but I just can't help myself in this situation.
This particular room is a horrifying flashback to a villa in the Middle East where I lived years ago. The alleged 'decorator' exhibited the same lack of taste then as in this room.
Furniture from Sears, cheap prints posing as 'art', lamps from WalMart and curtains that would be rejected by a prison.
Here's hoping the food is as exquisite as the spa is alleged to be elegant...

Nov 13th 2009 3:19PM How about surviving VICTIMS of violent crime? They no longer have any 'rights'.
Prospective employers don't care how a life is screwed, you escaped with only your life, credit down the toilet and medical issues that affect one for the rest of their life. They see the bottom line, regardless of one's past pristine credit, capabilities or work ethic.
And BTW...the alleged 'assistance' for crime victims is a joke.
It seems the innocent victims of crime pay for it longer and more miserably that those who commit it. If I hear one more bleeding heart comment of "oh, the criminal paid their debt to society...", I think I will either throw up or go ballistic; whichever happens first.
