Dec 21st 2010 9:12PM I agree. I only looked at the article because I wondered what idiocy was taking place this time. It all comes down to "popularity"... who gets the home viewers to come in. Bethany got it because she was on another prime idiot show and then her own "spin off".
What it comes down to is this... it doesn't matter if they are dancing, skating, just standing their picking their noses, or whatever. They could be sitting their doing nothing. It's just the newest popularity contest. And nothing more!
IF they did a true reality and it wasn't a viewer vote, you'd see the most honest contest... you'd see the real talent win and not the popular. It's just a joke what counts as "television" these days and those who watch these audience vote shows need a life. Obviously they have nothing to do because they pride themselves on "calling in" for whoever they like last night and brag about it the next day. I just roll my eyes....

Oct 24th 2010 10:15PM Have we seen proof that he hit the baby? I've not heard that, nor have any friends I just asked. That COULD be hear say. He messed up in the past, so everyone is SO quick to judge! How do we know the mother, his ex, did not continually push buttons and he got mad and said things? Have we forgotten, "innocent until proven guilty"? YES, he is guilty of some things, but for those so quick to forgive Tyson... he DID PHYSICALLY beat Robin Givens and he DID do the ear bite thing! Time has just gone by and since Mel's issues are newer, everyone jumps on the bandwagon.
I am NOT saying that I condone ANY of the issues. I'm simply stating that we need to get ALL the HONEST facts and not start making decisions on statements made not under oath. Too many are out for publicity these days... thus all these cheating celebs in the media.

The older one has a slight chance, except her mom will ruin it. The younger one sucks, but sings better than Danielle. She's just a drama queen... and a psycho one at that. She needs a 72 hr hold fast! If I were the daughter's father, I'd use all the tapes of her and get full custody!

Understandably, you were shaken up. However, this was caused by a possibly intoxicated person, who's own actions caused the fall. It had nothing to directly do with Disney or the ride. The employees at Disney are highly trained on how to respond, but when direct stupidity is the cause, you have to undertand they are shaken, just like you.
I was the safety manager for a retail store for 4 yrs. If I could tell you all the horrific customer and employee accidents, you'd be shocked. After a while, you get used to SOME blood, but never for something like this. Imagine, yourself, responding to a call where the parents let their kids play on an escalator... at the bottom, the teeth of the steps grabs the child's shirt and takes a chunk out of the child's arm! Imagine a parent, reading the warning of no strollers on the escalator, IGNORING it and losing their balance, landing on top of the stroller and hydroplaning down the escalator with the baby and they crash hard at the bottom and the baby is hurt, if not killed. Imagine a parent IGNORING the sign by the exercise equip and letting their 3 yr old play with the weight set... and the weights crash down and take a chunk out of the kids hand... and when you respond to it, YOU HAVE TO CARRY that chunk of hand.
All those are true stories that are repeated daily. You witnessed something minor in comparison! So, give the Disney employees credit in handling a situation that they could not possibly "expect"... and everyone should pay attention to warning signs. They are there for a reason.... not to take away fun! Escalators and weight equipment are not playgrounds for children. And adults should know that and not to be a smart ass in line.

I saw the show ONE time... for about 5 min... and only watched those 5 min because she thinks her daughter, who is about 7, is drop dead gorgeous... and takes her on all kinds of auditions. The fact is, that daughter has the MOST eerie eyes I have ever seen. She has zero talent... mimics mom. And overacts. The other housewives entertain because you HAVE to laugh. These make me sick.

I know SOME religions prefer not to circumsize... and it's funny how they always say the same kinds of things you do... things that are so far fetched and wrong... I guess to make their decision not to circumsize try to seem 'legit'. It's a personal decision, not one for you to be nasty and rude about.
It is not is not sick and cruel... and it's certainly NOT sexual abuse! In fact, it's healthy in that it's cleaner! And, as a female, I'd prefer to be with somone circumsized, than somone who's not... for that exact reason!
As for your OMG ignorant comment of "You are lucky your son's penis was not lost altogether, as sometimes happens"... WHAT CENTURY did you grow up in? If that was true, trust me, we'd hear it all the time.
How dare you say to her that you think she would have learned her lesson in parenting!!! You need to learn a few lessons... first on circumcision, then on being polite and non judgemental! I have to agree with everyone else who commented... ESPECIALLY with Paula. This is all I can say without being foul.

May 21st 2010 12:55PM How do you know she was cheated!????? What if the family was seated 5 min before her shift was over? In that case, being there an hour was not out of the norm!! We don't know the whole story! Just because she greeted them, she felt entitled to the tip. She CHOSE to stay that hour. She could have left on time and someone would have taken her table for her!
I know all the servers are going to rally against the public and say how terrible we are at tipping, etc. But, tipping is based on service and her own actions of posting that showed her attitude... which I am sure was reflected. So bring it on servers. Tell me and the rest of the world we are so wrong! We know better! I've met some awesome servers and I take care of them big time when it comes to tips and request their table every time I go in!! But, if it's not good, the tip does reflect it... and also makes me question the restaurant... so I understand the restaurant terminating her!! Her "comments" do not coincide with the way they do business.

May 21st 2010 12:48PM Why would she do that? First of all, she posted her comment on a public page. She knew people would see it and was hoping they'd feel sorry for her. In the service industry, you can't do things like that! Boo hoo, she had to stay an extra hour. We all know that when a server leaves for the day or goes on break, they are replaced. She CHOSE to stay that extra hour... so she'd get her tip. And in this economy $5 is great! Some servers work hard, but many don't and still feel entitled to a big tip! And, she seems like the kind who was probably in the back bitching that they need to go home so she can get her money. And, what is NOT said is that MAYBE they didn't get seated until 5 min before her shift was over and in that case, for them to be there an hour was normal!! It just didn't fit into HER schedule. The restaurant had the right to fire her! The article is right, they have to protect their name... because she was only ONE of their servers and they didn't want the public to feel that one person reflects the opinion of all.

Ok, so when the fire dept needs to park there to fight a fire or help an injured person... God forbid a relative of yours... and is delayed due to a Royal Kennedy acting as if she can't park in a normal space... would you STILL think it's ok? Come On! She's the Gov's wife.
