Mar 14th 2011 5:19PM In London, I've paid as much as 20 GBP for internet service (usually wired). That's more like $30+. I bought an 802.11N travel router so I can also have wi-fi for my iPhone. Nothing is more fun than having to sign up again when I get back to my hotel after a 12 hour work day. Just include it in the price and make it free if you feel you must charge such outrageous access fees!
As Elaine said, I've stayed in a Best Western in Yorkshire and had all the free wi-fi I could want.

Mar 6th 2010 11:46AM Otherwise a cool video. I'm glad I wasn't on that flight - a bit risky to just add something to an aircraft like that.
Mar 6th 2010 11:44AM I wasn't aware that they could lower the NLG without lowering the mains. I've only worked on military aircraft designs but none of the planes I'm familiar with can lower just the nose gear. Why would you want that feature?
