Michael Shimshoni, Alleged 'Nuisance' Landlord, Eludes Authorities {AOL Real Estate}
Mar 2nd 2013 3:24PM Oh, yeah they also stole our mail (1 letter), a federal felony crime, and also stole a couch and table : when we called the police to file a stolen merchandise/property report they did it so badly that we didn't feel we could use it (the police didn't even mention the stolen property in the report).
An atty friend told us that police write bad reports deliberately to avoid going to court and their supervisors instruct them to do so, this so that they have more boots on the pavement instead of sitting in court days at a time trying to remember details of these types of crimes so they can focus on higher crimes which have higher priority; I guess I understand that but why not just have a simple report form that a citizen can fill out so at least its on record that a theft ocurred ? (After all we pay massive taxes and get next to nothing back; IE cities and counties want to regulate rentals, but do almost nothing to regulate renters).

Mar 2nd 2013 3:14PM Yes, he seems a bad one, BUT most renters are horrible anymore, the last one for example bought an exotic sports car and quit paying the rent (and the house was in great shape in a nice quiet area), they then tried the beer hall logic of tearing up the house to try to justify not paying, (we had already lowered the rent for them when we realized they were in trouble but they didn't even say thanks?) Next they broke a 9" hole in the ceiling, a 1"x 12" hole in the dining room floor, took a sledge hammer and broke 6 boards on the front porch, dumped their composter garbage in the yard, broke the satelite dish in 2, built a bonfire in the center of the backyard and put in a sandbox without permission (scattering the ashes charcoal and sand randomly) which means the grass won't grow normally there for awhile, they also left the oven and fridge filthy and dumped their charcoal grill in the yard, leaving us with 2 months approx of unpaid rent , finally the court stipulation to depart took effect and we stopped the damage, now we are afraid to rent to anyone without good credit rating (we've had mostly horrible renters who don't pay and trash, leaving beer caps and bottles everywhere). But they all seem to have money for big screen TV's, pizza, beer (Heineken sometimes), cigarettes, ice cream, etc , what makes it really frustrating is that we were model renters all of our adult lives. What gives? any advice?
Police Can Install Hidden Cameras on Private Property Without a Warrant, Judge Rules {AOL Real Estate}
Nov 3rd 2012 11:31PM At least society is trending towards an eventual police state in which the elite rich would get everything they want and the rest of the people would simply be shunted aside if they got in the way.

Nov 3rd 2012 11:27PM yes, we must protect our "BILL OF RIGHTS" or lose them perhaps forever. The evil prospers because good people do nothing to stop it.
Thats why getting the gospel out of the public schools was so important to a victory for slavery worldwide types. They first separate good from schools, then when the kids grow up more misbehaving they slowly add on more and more controls until ultimately we end up in a police state. The gospel gets kids to grow too honorable to do wrong (predominantly) and the problems go away as well then the police state loses its need. BEFORE YOUR RANT AND RAVE: look back in our history, kids in 40's, 50's, 60's were much better behave, we never heard of any school shootings even though many farm kids had many guns for hunting. etc. Many never even bothered to lock their doors the neighborhoods were so safe... what happened ? How did we evolve to these layers on layers of controls which steal our rights for freedom of speech, assembly, right to bear arms, etc? Whether you believe it or not the gospel works to help kids be good without constant monitoring ! It was the HONOR SYSTEM based on FAITH in the GOOD SPIRIT !
Please join us and ask your congressman to RE-UNITE at least the ideal of the GOOD SPIRIT and SCHOOLS ! Thanks.
RealtyTrac Election Housing Report Finds Housing Market Worse Off than in 2008 {AOL Real Estate}
Oct 24th 2012 4:24PM Actually this article is wrong: our FL real estate market improved 7.6% last year, and now is going up 3% each month for last 2 months according to 2 differen sources who know? Bushw left a hard to clean up mess, he raided the national Treasury and gave it to his buddies as bailouts who in turn gave it to execs (how much is in offshore accts even now? Mitts? ) BUSHW's Chief Financial Officer said in 2009 " the GOP gutted the economy... "

Oct 24th 2012 4:09PM Clinton, Bushw, O, none of them have done investigations into illegal price fixing of gasoline/oil ! WHY WHY WHY ? (is it because the super rich (SR) told them not to or they would withhold "donation/bribes" to camapaign funds? I smell a skunk that is sly enough to donate to both sides of the aisle; if you look at the facts right now the USA needs energy independence to stop the bankruptcy, but strangely congress keeps making laws to keep clean energy OUT (ie recent high tariffs on foriegn solar panels?) very very strange, the silence is deafening !
Want a good candidate: vote GREEN PARTY.. there comes a time when you simply have to vote your heart whether just because its right !

Rob Olson of Lake Elmo, Minn., Destroys His Entire Lawn With Weed Killer {AOL Real Estate}
Jul 17th 2012 10:22AM Well... its tragic, but grass always comes back eventually, so take heart. THE LESSON: as always, never say never, never say always, and in this case never say everything at one time. IF he had (like with many cleaners and other chemicals) taken a small area out of the way in and tested it first , he wouldn't have lost his whole lawn.. hindsight is 20/20 vision.
Solar Ready Roofs: California's New Homebuilding Standard {AOL Real Estate}
Jun 4th 2012 8:47PM FYI: Using white "kool seal" or equivalent (has elasticmeric polymer inside ) saves your roof for decades, just paint it on as thick as humanly possible (don't try to stretch it out, just slather it on thickly, it goes faster and seals better all the little pinhole leaks you don't know about), it also sticks the shingles (asphalt shingles are ok too) together and also seals in the moisture into the shingles so they don't dry out and split/curl , you also save 20% on AC bill every summer so you get your money back. Average house will take about 20 gallons, and its worth every penny.. do it even to a brand new roof, the AC savings are for real, you be glad you did, REDO the kool seal or equivalent every 3-5 years for about $250 and you will probably never have to replace your roof, if you do get a leak, just redo the area of concern as thick as possible.
1. Get 20 % back on AC bill every year
2. Save roof perhaps for up to 100 years?
3. Hurricane and storms have a harder time taking of shingles that are stuck together
4. Seal leaks easily
5. Eliminate expensive roof replacements.
