Lost city found in Ethiopia {Gadling}

Aug 8th 2009 7:53PM My first time perusing and I was impressed with your comments. I look forward to visiting and learning about Ethiopia and the people living there regardless of the percentage of ethiopians or muslims. Like you, I've traveled to other countries and practically every state and enjoyed meeting so many different people and learning about their faiths. Not bad for a guy from Cincinnati, Ohio now living in New York for the past 40 yrs. I'm in my 60's and loving it! I've met so many people who have spent their whole lives hating nationalities, race and religious people ...stepped outside of the box, broke the chains and scars of past ethnic bashing and live meaningful, fulfilled lives!

Obama/Clinton Ticket Can and Must Happen {Politics Daily}

Mar 29th 2008 9:38PM George and Jaki Baez, you're made for each other. You dismiss Black people in this country like we don't exist and have a brain. African Americans are the most loyal folk in this country. We built this country side by side with no rights until the 60's, and we're still loyal to the red, white and blue. No other nationality can make this statement on these shores. The ball is in Obama's park and statistics bare him out, respect the cards stacked before you. Little Miss Red Riding Hood-Clinton, ought to be ashamed of herself, the racial slurs she has gotten away this. Maybe, we all should go over to McCain and upset the apple cart, it might be refreshing for both parties. Obama should not ask HC to the ticket as VP.

The State of Tavis Smiley's World {Blackvoices Main}

Feb 28th 2008 2:44AM Gregory Moore and Faye, thank you for your practical, common-sense approach in observing the Obama/Tavis situation. Arrogance and pride are bed fellows, and Mr. Smiley, will take this issue and grow! By now, he must realize the honeymoon is over and stop treating African American people as we are all alike (speech, education, economic place in society and the way we worship. I will try to continue to watch his PBS program as I do enjoy his guess, and I must add, his interviewing skills have improved in this setting. Because of the way he handled Obama's invitation- rejection, I didn't watch this year's event in New Orleans, that's just how angry and disappointed I am about his lack of experience. Maybe, I'll watch some of the repeats on C-Span. Again, thank you for your renditions that I forwarded to many friends.

OBAMA WATCH: Magic's Got Clinton's Back {Blackvoices Main}

Sep 20th 2007 6:46PM Magic Johnson, doesn't have to worry about my going to his Harlem theater or Starbucks! He's insane. Obama, is certainly smarter than the man presently in the White house. We really should take a look at past U.S. presidents and their qualifications...I think you will consider giving Obama, a chance. Obama, is qualified and intelligent. Over the years we have voted for dump White politicians who did not care about African Americans and our future. I like Mrs. Clinton, but I will vote for Obama, the first black man qualified to stand up and run the most powerful country in the history of the world. Right on!

Crazy for the Dogs {Blackvoices Main}

Feb 18th 2007 3:48PM No, No, No, my friend, Mr. Cosby, need not tone anything down! He is right on target. I just wish there were more responsible people in authoritative positions to speak out about issues that affect the African American community. Congratulations on winning the dog award! I've watched the dog and horse shows for years. Cosby is not the only black person who have entries in these shows. Get on board brother Marcus.

QUEEN LATIFAH: Ready to Share the Crown {BV Newswire}

Jan 27th 2007 10:04PM Please stop knocking Tyra Banks. Their's room for both of you to compete without knocking each other. She's the only one of color for her age producing her own show in the world! Thanks.

QUEEN LATIFAH: Ready to Share the Crown {BV Newswire}

Jan 27th 2007 9:59PM I like you Queen Latifah, but why do you have to knock Tyra Banks? You never hear other races knocking each other the way we African Americans do...why? She is the only ONE her age, successfully producing her own show in the world, of color. Cover Girl, the company you paint your face for doesn't need two African American women fighting each other. For What? To get ahead? Stop it. NOW! There's room for both of you to compete respectfully. Queen Latifah! The young teenage girls I work with are confused when you make those type of statements. Please stop it. NOW. Thank you. Luv ya.

Diddy Forced to Change His Name {The Boombox}

Sep 12th 2006 10:22AM Grow up little children with small minds. Sean Combs, will continue to do just fine. You people who bought Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren's - Polo cheap crap, not to mention Calvin Klein! ...have some nerve and no respect for the good Combs is now doing. I am not a fan of Hip Hop and have never purchased any of the stuff, but I admire him for the smart business man he continues to be. Now match that! Life is just to short to tear each other down - twenty years from now let's hope is a billionaire!!!
