May 5th 2009 6:10PM I cannot believe the anger and outrage over what Mia Farrow is trying to do .. draw attention to a serious condition! Like she said if it gets people thinking maybe something will come of it. Look we re all talking about her ..... what about her cause? I think it is important enough to contact the Obama Adminsitration to restore the international aid that was banished from Darfur. Of course, charity begins at home .... and I could not agree more. That is why I am involved through my church with those less fortunate in our community. Please give Mia's cause some thought . all she wants is 100 people from each district to make contact with the Obama Administration. Isn't there room in our hearts to reach out to all ..... at home and abroad??????

I am a 60 year old, white woman, registered Republican and I find Michelle Obama refreshing, beautiful and very stylish. I still try to do the same! Why are people so jealous. You all had the same chance to run for President or make a lot of money to buy expensive clothes as the Obamas have done. Did you not make it? Sorry. Leave the First Lady alone...I give her credit for being confident and comfortable enough in her own skin to wear items many times over. Next time all of you negative people should make a run for the White House, If you are over 35 and an American citizen you too can give it a go!

I am a middle age white woman and I think Michelle Obama is beautiful, intellignet and an excellent mother. By the way, her thesis just told the truth!

Feb 24th 2009 9:47AM Looks like the FA's knew what they weree talking about since the pilot (aka GOD) changed his mind! Sure he is trained well, but why did he give in and then once he did .. why did he sue? One word EGO!
Lawyers need not call ..... I will not change my mind! The FA's were right in their assesment and if the plane HAD crashed think of the lawsuits then!

Feb 13th 2009 6:03PM I am a person of faith ... not a bible banger ... just a faithful Lutheran. I believe this is in God's hands and He will make the decision as to what these misguided, neglected chldren do. I feel strongly the grandparents are to blame for not controling or wathcing their children. However it is also not for me to judge any of them. Seems there are enough of you doing that anyway!

Jan 15th 2009 10:25PM I am the mom of a spectacular 21 year old son. His dad and I were always open, honest and pretty liberal with him as he grew up. He is now a typical,social college man, but he knows his limits and when to act responsible.He is also far from perfect, but his morals are set for good in a good way because we knew when to say no this is worng! Like the video games we would not allow (Ex:Grand Theft Auto) which we never thought would teach him to beat women or steal cars or kill policeman ... we were against it because we knew someone was making a lot of money and influencing a lot of children in a negative way! ... we never would have allowed something as base as a Bratz doll for a daughter for the same reasons. Would it teach her to beome wild? Not if we were doing our job, but again someone is making alot of money off this stuff! Personnally, I would like to see parents strong enough to boycot this company.Take a stand and say to manufacturers we want quality and morality for our young children. They have a lifetime to learn the trash. Someone is getting very wealthy off the trash they are pushing on your children. Parents have a huge responsibility to teach their children morals and right from wrong in a very short time.Take a stand .... speak up and be heard and know when to say no to your child ... so your chld will no when to say no to others in comprimising situations. Someone PLEASE start a boycott ... send them a message!
Annoying Restaurant Trends {AOL Food Blog}
Feb 1st 2008 7:55PM This is the same old story. Waitstaff whine because tips make up so much of their income and if we the public do not tip well they and their children are shortchanged. Sorry ... not my fault as a customer ... talk to your boss and tell him to pay you minimum wage or GOSH BETTER! The restaurant owner has no trouble creating an expensive atmosphere and could we please see the car they drive BEFORE we tip? My point is .. the employer should pay the employee NOT THE CLIENT! If they need to raise prices so be it ... we would still be paying the same (YES I TIP WELL .. @ LEAST 20% sometimes more) but we would not have to hear the wait staff whine and blame us! The other option for waitstaff. ... find another job with a regular paycheck. I am so irritated at the comments from the waitstaff I am going to try NOT TIPPING and leave a note explaining who I think should pay the employees. By the way, we had an ice cream store and paid the kids who worked for us $10.00 per hour. It was not the responsibility of our valued and respected clients to take care of the people we made a comittment to. YES ... I DO NEED CHANGE!

Jan 20th 2008 7:56PM I think every one is taking is statement wrong .... he was a bit flustered and said .... "it's only my wife ..I'll punch her out" but if you listen and watch with this in mind you will see it from a different perspective .... I believe he meant punch as in punch, push, hit the end /off button ... which is EXACTLY what he is doing when he says it. The tone and inflection indicate he is thinking about the act of punching the button on the phone. He just choose the wrong word in is hurry to stop the call and get back to speaking.
