Sep 29th 2011 4:03PM Places like Cleveland and Detroit are just awful dumps. However, there are fabulous deals in great neighborhoods in both Las Vegas and all over FL. I've seen oceanfront homes in perefct shape for under $60,000, and in land lakefront homes for under $40,000. I live in suburban NYCity, taxes are high, lifestyle very poor, and social unrest and unionism everywhere. Saving grace is jobs are available, but at such high cost.

That was how I viewed America as a kid, a place where right won out and everyone cared. How I miss those days, the actors, the writers and directors.
