Jul 20th 2011 9:12PM yes it may well be a "tourist trap" but it does provide jobs, (my wife worked there while in High School) it has been a great little spot for the kids to take a break after hours on the road, and like so many other places you don't have to stop, and if you do, spend your money if you don't want to. I wish there were somthing to break up the trip bordom above the Mason Dixon line.
Jul 20th 2011 9:08PM I have stopped at S.O.B. many times traveling from Fort Bragg to Myrtle Beach, In fact my wife worked there as a summer job during her high school years
Nov 1st 2009 4:31PM It would be nice to get in the door for an interview. I know interviewers and applications are not supposed to ask age, but you don't have to be a brain surgeon to figure out age when it ask what year did you graduate. AGE is a killer trust me. My XX years means set in his ways to an employer reading a resume. Trust me Young means less wages and trainable to an employer.
Sep 17th 2009 8:12AM I keep getting these work from home offers , but how do you know which ones are scams or just another way to get you to put money out with little chance of any return. I am a partially disabled Vet but my compensation will not pay the bills. I am 50 plus years old and have worked the construction industry for years. I do have an A.D. but everybody wants 4 year degree. every time I inquire about a work at home job the first thing I hear is which credit card do you want to put this on today.
