Wesley Snipes avoids jail a little longer {WalletPop}

Sep 18th 2010 10:31AM I keep reading the phrase: "Snipes did not pay his fair share of taxes" ... I ask: Is there anyone in America paying their fair share? ... The truth is the middle class is over taxed and the rich don't pay enough.

Sorry, Wesley, but you should have paid when it was due or gotten a payment arrangement with the IRS before it got this ugly. I hope you have a chance to continue filming ... no one else does action movies quite like you. I love your movies.

Hair Accessories That Summer-Proof Strands With Style {Stylelist}

Jul 24th 2010 6:46PM Not more pathetic than that girl with hair pulled up so tight and makeup that makes her look like a samurai warrior. Ugly! They they wonder why so many models are going bald.

Why are weddings so expensive? Historians find the answer {WalletPop}

Jul 3rd 2010 8:19PM Weddings and burials have become events where you are expected to go out of your way in expenses, whether you can afford it or not. If you don't go overboard, family and friends make you fel inadequate and cheap.

Cheap Trick: Flip Your Books {Shelterpop}

Feb 14th 2010 4:56PM Well, if what you like to see is paper, not the the book covers, just
buy reams of paper. Stack them any way you want, and your shelves will be as empty from words and coherent thought as your brain!

Sans Wedding Ring: Restless Finger Syndrome {BV on Love}

Jan 31st 2010 11:27AM Rather than wear a ring, I like him to have our love on his mind and my name on his lips. A gold band will not keep a man as faithful as a happy, exciting and solid relationship. Of course, there are those who stray (women too!) even when they wear the fanciest ring. That is why, we must get to know the person and chose wisely.

Massucci's Take: Can a fat tax fix our health care system? {Daily Finance}

Dec 10th 2009 7:40AM Why don't we put a tax in stupidity? It seems there are more stupid people than fat ones ...

Glamour's risky gamble on full-sized female models {Daily Finance}

Oct 17th 2009 11:47AM If a designer wants to be an artist, nothing but an artist, he can design clothes to fit a skeleton or a broom and have his creations destined to museums as "work of art." If a designer wants to "sell" he needs to define his target market and design for them, not just considering shape and size, but age and occasion: beach wear, leisure, business, special event, etc. Designers are artists, no doubt about it, but they are also business people and they would be wise to cater to the market with most potential buyers.

Is layaway the answer to America's credit woes? {Daily Finance}

Sep 7th 2009 10:45AM The writer seems to be misinformed, thinking that lay-away is another frivolous debt trap. It is not. It's a promise to pay for something you want, that you many not find later, for a reasonable flat fee (not interest that acrues). The worst that could happen is that you change your mind or fail to pay and do not get your item. You get your money back minus the lay-away flat fee. ----There is nothing better than putting away Christmas toys and decorations now that they are available and at a good price and obtaining them in the Holiday Season. It is easier to stay within your budget when you can take advantage of sales. One advantage I appreciate also is that it eliminates storage problems at home. I don't have to worry about hiding the bike or the pingpong table or the Disney castle.

Oprah's magic touch can make or break your business {Daily Finance}

Jul 26th 2009 11:17AM Whether she has the "Midas touch" or not, AOL has recycled and republished this article enough! We have been fed the same thing since May 29 (date published) and we want AOL to do better. There's a lot going on, get those news!

Nudity - Boundaries for Babies? {ParentDish}

Jul 25th 2009 8:27PM Perhaps teaching people to cover their body and fprcing them to be modest has something to do with many in our society letting their bodies go and getting fat and out of shape. Why care for somethng that shames us and must be covered up?
