John Travolta Angers Qantas Employees With In-Flight Video Appearance {PopEater}
Mar 22nd 2011 2:02PM I didn't see a darn thing wrong with it. In fact, if I'm stressed out because of flying and that came on, it would relax me. The last thing I need is an "up tight" pilot 2 drinks away from slamming the plane into the side of a mountain telling me about safety.
Nice work John!

Actually, the last person(s) killed in my state by a person driving RECKLESSLY fast was, you guessed it, a car driven by a NJ STATE TROOPER. And, I also grew up in Camden, NJ (the most dangerous city in the US). They did shoot back. I might ad more accurately than ANY cop I know.
Do you have anything to say about all of the times COPS chase people RECKLESSLY through a residential neighborhood and put the lives of innocent people at risk all because of their week self control and "tough guy" pride? Nope! Guess not!

May 28th 2010 7:54AM Nearly ALL cops have their job because they FAILED at everything else, they were a geek in high school or it's their only shot at getting laid. Look at most police. If you took away their badge and gun what would you have left over. A shallow shell of a person who could no longer use the "I'm a cop" pickup line at his local pub. Having been a person who spent MANY hours at a gun range. I can honestly say police are the most unsafe, least proficient people handling their weapon. Take my word for it, if they didn't allow police to carry gusn we would ALL be much safer.

May 28th 2010 7:46AM This comment is for Dave. YES, I have no use for cops. If they got rid of ALL police (and judges and prosecutors for that matter), let law abiding citizens carry, we'd be better off. Crime is big business and if the "law" was interested in truly stopping crime, there would be no degrees of murder, no plea bargain and no parole. They (law enforcement) need criminals on the street. If they were behind bars they can't produce income for those who "claim" they want to stop it. I wish they'd fire a cop in my town and use his income to pave my street. I'd like to have a smooth driving surface on the way to work while I drink a cup of coffee. Besides, I could get up later (because I could speed to work) and have faster internet download speed because he or she wouldn't be sitting in their patrol car stealing internet connection from me and my neighbors.

May 28th 2010 7:34AM Amen! You want to cut crime in half, fire half the police department. They are substance, system and spousal abusers.

May 25th 2010 10:22AM I see many comments about the quality of goods which prompts the reason for return. And, the reason for the lack of quality in goods is "corporate greed", bottom line and people not willing to pay US workers to make quality goods. I completely agree with the first part, quality of goods are diminished and it's a "sell you three of the same thing" mentality. However, you people are dead WRONG about blaming corporations. Your focus should be on the American worker, college grads with the "i'm entitled because I punched my ticket" mentality. UNION cost drive the cost of labor up because their workers expect $30+ an hour plus all benefits for producing products that DON'T require skilled labor. Every American worker expects to live in a 3,500 square foot house and drive a Hummer. Kids out of college expect an $80,000 + job because they spent four years nodding their head in agreement and regurgitating what their teacher said back to them. Don't blame corporations or CEOs. They aren't the problem, the American worker's "i'm entitled" mentality and unions are the problem. If it's so easy, go start a company, be the CEO and run it the way you think is just and "right". We'll see how long you last when the workers you hire expect $35 an hour for trimming the plastic off a plastic toy that just popped out of a mold. To the American worker, take accountability and responsibility for your actions and greed.
