Squeals And Loathing In Justin Bieber's Hometown Of Stratford, Ontario {Gadling}

Nov 29th 2012 7:28AM Nice article. I'm also a grandparent, but know little real information on this kid. I hear many love him/hate him comments from my grands, but never thought about his upbringing .... sounds fairly normal now that I read this. The first time I saw him was on Disney, singing a very sweet little song that I couldn't for a million dollars tell you the title of ... thinking at that time what a cute little boy! I still have no idea what he has ever sung that I may have heard, but he makes a lot of kids happy and that's all that really matters. Thanks for a good morning read with my cup of coffee.

Fill It Up: Bread Alternatives {Kitchen Daily}

Mar 22nd 2010 6:32PM Joe's idea brought to mind one of my favorites I haven't tried in ages. Serve the tuna, or chicken, salad on top of a large tomato you have cut into eighths. Delicious! Thanks, Joe.

Obama's Back-to-School Speech: The Prepared Text {Politics Daily}

Sep 7th 2009 6:42PM One of the first presidential speeches I remember, as a 3rd grader at the time, was JFK's "Ask not what your country can do for you, rather, what you can do for your country." To me, this speech gives the same message, maybe not with any catchphrases, but the same idea that kids should work to do their best, and that their best will only make this country better in the long run, regardless of which party is in leadership.
