Seven things to do with your unused foreign currency {Gadling}
Jan 13th 2010 2:38PM Several airlines give you also the possibility to donate money as passenger onboard. Most of the time by giving an enveloppe to the Steward(ess)/F.A./Purser. Remember Air China and also for instance Iceslaveair that give passengers the chance to donate money to a special childern fund onboard. In some cases it's an easy way to get rid of your foreign money and doing something nice with it.
TSA Security update: No inflight entertainment, books OK {Gadling}
Dec 28th 2009 8:01AM Have my doubts that any of these measures will address/would prevent a 'NW253' action.
If you read between the lines they bassicaly say, for whatever reason the security screenings and SOP's are currently not sufficient. They more or less accept that there is already some kind of explosive device/package onboard of the plane.
Crew (and passengers), you are on your own. Have fun playing watchdog and please be so kind to pick some nice piece of grassland or ocean if you gonna go down. Thanks in advance & happy flights!
Rather prefer 100% bodyscans, screenings and properly trained security employees/SOP's etc at all the gates here @ Schiphol and other AFB BEFORE you enter a plane.
