5 Unfinished Landmarks Worth A Visit {Gadling}

Apr 24th 2013 10:23AM I am most grateful that the Lakotas' refused federal money to build the monument
to Chief Crazy Horse and the Nation. Had they done so, the government would
take control of the project and exploit it beyond belief. Do not trust our govenment.
As a native american, all our government has done has lied to and exploited the native american indians of all native nations.

10 Essential Destinations In Mexico {Gadling}

Jul 19th 2012 2:03PM Lived and worked in south Texas for 20 plus years. Traveled to Mexico frequently
for R& R. Really enjoyed the country and most of all the people. Enter multiple groups of folks hell bent on making money from drugs and the don't give one iota
who or how things gets in their way, it is handled in the same maner no matter what. "A BULLET !"" That is Mexico today. Wish it were different, but such is not to be until the cartels are captured or killed off. Its that simple. They love "Gringos" for ransom purposes. Safety being the better part of valor, I can think of other destinations that are far safer than Mexico. Why take a known risk
of life and limb.

Crime in Mexico: Is Puerto Vallarta unsafe for travelers? {Gadling}

Mar 3rd 2012 10:39AM Lived and worked i n south Texas for 20 years. Use to love to go into Mexico.
As a former Peace Officer, can tell those who choose to enter Mexico this day and age should be sure your Last Will & Testament is current. The cartels will
use "Gringos" as hostages for ransom. If that dosen't suite their needs, they will,
without ceremony, remove the heads as a warning to other cartels. It is sad. The
mexican people are very down to earth and most helpful in all aspects. They can't
earn a decent wage because of the threats and killings by the cartels. Their
government is so corrupt it is hard to fathom.
Conclussion: They haven't made enough money that would pay me to travel into
Mexico this day and age. Don't care one iota what the travel agent say.

Mexico's safest destinations {Gadling}

Jan 22nd 2012 9:37PM Lived on the Texas/Mexcian border for over twenty years. The travel agencies
must really be hurting to put out such brainwashing. I' d just as soon go bear hunting with a switch as to go vacationing in Mexico. Too many better places in this world with out al the shooting up "Gringo !"

Las Vegas: 1966 {Gadling}

Oct 24th 2011 12:29PM Just reading the comments above, I think we all, for the most part, agree that Vegas has made some drastic changes in recent times. Sorry to say, the changes have not been for the better. Wonder if the hot shots directing the Vegas scene will bother to read these comments and do something about the cold
reception being experienced by folks. It may very well be the case of why Vegas
is pleading for more visitors/customers. Years past were great. Nice people that
couldn't do enough to make you welcomed. You wanted to stay longer and spend more time and money. My last visit, couldn't get out of there fast enough. No more Vagas for this old man. It just isn't the friendly place that I use to look forward to visiting.

Typing is Fine, but Handwriting Makes its Mark When it Comes to Learning {ParentDish}

Jun 17th 2011 3:13PM I would truly love to write in the cursive manner, but due to severe
tremor due to auto accident, I am unable to do so. The only manner in which I can communicate with friends and relatives is by type written letters or emails on the computer. Any suggestions ? I feel that the hand written letter or message is far more appealing than
type written.

Does your passport photo still look like you? {Gadling}

Jun 7th 2011 5:34PM Why is anyone surprised at this story and its illustrations. This administration
as well as past administrations have failed to do anything regarding illegal immigration or more importantly "Border Control." Our so calle fearless leaders
want votes.Plain and simple and it is costing the taxpayers of our country approximately $338 billion dollars a year. Now, lets add on the fact that our country is the direct target of those who wish to do away with "Infidels." What better way than to enter our country unimpeded than to come across our poorly
guarded borders and do their nasty deeds. Come on folks. Stand up and congratulate our so called leaders who are only interested in protecting their on
backsides by totally ignoring the most evident. To Hell with America. I want to be elected and re-elected and I'll do what ever it takes to buy your vote.

Lindsay Lohan Feels She's Being Punished Because She's a Star {PopEater}

Apr 25th 2011 10:05AM Lindsey,--"ONLY IN YOUR OWN MIND." Not a "Star", rather a totally misguided arrogant, narcisstic person who has failed
her own self. Your are a mirror image of the Hollywood Set of today. How sad that people even give second thought to persons
who led and now follow in your footsteps who think they are better that the world around them. Your talent is wasted on a lifestyle of greed and self-gratification that leads to total
failure.
