"Passenger created" toilet clogs delay flight for 10 hours {Gadling}

Sep 1st 2009 6:53PM Let me first say that this is not uncommon on US carriers. I work for a major airline and have seen first hand what your US educated (or so they say) fellow flying public will flush down the toliets. Can anyone explain to me why someone would flush a blanket down the toliet??? The same kind of stupidity goes on here. We see dirty diapers being flushed down the toliets and causing the same delays. Diapers laying on the floor, people trying to change babies on the tray tables and seats that you use/and eat off of and then try to hand the dirty diaper to us while we are on the cart trying to serve you your food/beverage... and look at us like we have three heads when we tell them that they can't... Oh, the stories I could tell you.... so, how do you take your coffee??
