Ricardo Cerezo, Facing Eviction, Finds $4.85 Million Lottery Ticket {AOL Real Estate}

May 19th 2013 6:05AM How many times are they going to recycle this story?

UK Passenger Jet Barely Misses UFO {Gadling}

May 2nd 2013 6:34PM Probably a drone. I wouldn't be surprised if many of these sightings over the years have actually been covertly tested drone vehicles. Radio-controlled toys have been around since the 70's and if toys can do it, I'm sure larger versions of these devices could've been created and used over the years.

Homeowner Robert Phipps Says Neighbor's Solar Panels Are Blinding {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 28th 2013 1:18PM Wish I'd thought of that. That's a great idea. Maybe you could minimize the darkness when viewed from the other side. The important thing is to install the windows so the light is reflected back down onto the neighbor's house.

Homeowner Robert Phipps Says Neighbor's Solar Panels Are Blinding {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 28th 2013 1:14PM I agree the glare shouldn't impede Mr. Phipps and his family from leading a normal life. I don't understand why the panels weren't installed on the roof in a more horizontal fashion to direct light away from the community. If the panels are reflecting so much light, how can they be taking advantage of it?

World War II Vet John Potter, 91, Faces Eviction by Daughter {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 26th 2013 2:11AM I pretty much disliked my father in every way and never chose to know him as many sons know their fathers. However, I think only a monster could remove a parent from his lifetime home (especially at his age) unless his physical condition necessitated relocation to a facility that could care for him. My mother had dementia in the last 2 years of her life and rather then place her in a home, I took care of her myself. What she's doing is inexcusable.

How Climate Change Might Make Some Cities 'Uninhabitable' {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 22nd 2013 1:02PM Anyone who even vaguely understands the consequences of enormous population growth and the effect it has on Earth realized a long time ago that humans would run through water, mineral, soil and food resources within decades. The growth of a virus inside the human body that saps it's resources is eventually going to "kill the patient." Humans are a sort of viral plague on the planet, using it up without re-balancing the planet's needs. It's only a matter of time and Stephen Hawkings predictions recently are coming true. Even if the world simply stopped have kids for 1 or 2 generations it would help and allow the planet to bounce back but don't count on that happening.

Michael Shimshoni, Alleged 'Nuisance' Landlord, Eludes Authorities {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 3rd 2013 2:50AM Pretty simple isn't it? People get shot, robbed, mugged and abused on his properties? Drugs, murder, on and on and he gets away with it? I don't understand why the solution isn't carried out---mug him, rob him, hook him on heroin then shoot him, that way he can find out (initially anyway) what he's forcing on his tenants.

Robert Swift, Ex-Seattle SuperSonics Star, Refuses to Leave His Foreclosed Home {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 27th 2013 12:31PM Sounds like one of the cases you read about of lottery winners who win a tidy sum and are bankrupt in a few years. He made a minimum $11 million yet is broke by 2012? You only have yourself to blame young man and you need to move on, re-find yourself, get a job and find a decent place to live.
