I grew up in Pontiac, 25 miles North, I DON'T profess to be a "Detroiter" as much as I have enjoyed her benefits over the years.
Lets get real, all this is is a 'fluff' piece for this guys restaurant. In NOVI for christs sake. A very affluent town west of the city by a few miles. Support the REAL Detroit Restaurants. BUY A REAL CONEY DOWNTOWN !

Jul 16th 2010 5:05PM I did my first comic con in 1967 Detroit. Shel Dorf was involved in it before he started San Diego. This Oct (YEA, HALLOWEEN !) the newest version is being held in Dearborn. Come on over and visit, I dare you. Walk through the streets of Detroit spouting your crap and see what happens. Or drop your garbage talk and join us in a true spirit of brotherhood. Nobody cares what Race, Creed, Color, Religion or Nationality you are. We just like comic books. They are fun, and I think you people NEED some of THAT. A LOT OF THAT !

May 13th 2010 7:23PM I will admit to being conflicted !
On one hand I find that whoever was able to get 5 young girls to follow the routine as well as they did is amazing.
On the other hand, the costumes DO seem to be too risque for girls of this age, however, they are STILL better than some of the bathing suits that they wear at this age.
From what I could see of the routine on the video, I did not notice any overtly sexual content at least.
Bottom line, I hope that they at LEAST WON THE COMPETITION !!

Chase to risky customers: It's not you, it's me {WalletPop}
Apr 20th 2010 10:51PM My WAMU/CHASE card was hit with an over limit fee after the interest was added that sent it over limit. $39 for $2.46 o/l.
I argued with a faceless customer service center somewhere in India or there abouts for almost 2 hours. 2 months later they did it again. These were BOTH after Chase announced in the news that they WOULD NOT CHARGE OVERLIMIT FEES IF THE AMOUNT WAS UNDER $5.oo.
I was never able to contact ANYONE is the states . I THEN received a letter stating that if I wanted to continue with the card, the new interest rate would be prime + 24.99% for a total interest rate of 30.99% ! ! !
What choice did I have ? Of course I canceled the card, and then I had to FIGHT them on that as they started charging me the higher interest rate ANY WAY !!
So, they get their pound of flesh every month, but I will be DAMNED if they will EVER get that last $78 out of me.

Aug 29th 2009 10:43AM Bunk. And I AM being nice. "COUPON FRAUD" is NOT what you describe. Stores themselves have "STORE COUPONS" and they ALSO allow you to add another coupon for the same item. Check out Meijers and Kroger ! Ecoupons come off your store card and they allow you to add another coupon to it, if that makes the item FREE or NEGATIVE, then so be it. If Kroger say, doubles a .50 coupon to $1 and allows you to use an Ecoupon for .50 and the item is $1.49, IS THAT MY FAULT ?
THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
If a store allows me to buy an item and I have coupons for the item, then it is my RIGHT to use them as well as I can.
An example : bought 2 bottles of salad dressing for $1.58 ea. I used $1.50 off coupons for each. $.16 NET, oh by the way, they also allowed me to use 1 coupon for $1 off veggies and 1 coupon for $2 off meat. $0.16 got me 2 bottles of salad dressing, 1 head of lettuce and 1# of ground beef. Was I wrong ? I was able to eat for a couple of days off of it. I am low income & disabled, I need the help and I would recommend ANYONE with a low income to TRY it !! IT HELPS !
And by the way, I use SELF checkouts so I DON'T cause a mess in the line and if someone comes up behind me I TELL them that I might be quite awhile and I also explain what I am doing because there are so many 'anal' people out there that get all upset because of 1 coupon let alone 20 or 30. Maybe I'm not the type of couponer that you describe, I DON'T take everything off the shelf. I have a tendency to ask for a quantity in the back room first because of that.
I hope you can calm down a little ? Would you like me to send you some coupons so you can experience the feeling of getting a $2 item for .15 ?
