Jan 15th 2011 5:05AM I went to public school. I did all the things all the other kids did. To be fair, I had some really good teachers that taught me some really good things. I learned all the basic abc's. Socially, the public schools are a joke. They offer nothing. The only real social skills you learn are from well balanced adults. Home schooling is for family's that really want to teach their kids what is really important. It is not for lazy,uncaring ignorant semi adults. You cannot teach what you do not know. Who, in their right mind would turn their children over to an organization who cannot teach what is important? Public school offers you a dozen or so biased teachers. Occasionally you get a good one. Public school offers a seriously flawed peer group of young people that also have no experience. Go figure.... I am trying to offer my children what is light years beyond that . The results have been excellent.

Dec 6th 2010 5:58AM I like Willie...........I don't like dope. dope is a drug....... I don't like the illegal govt. Most of them are probably smokin too.....especially the liberal ones. I am glad they are doing something to guard the border. Seems like the problem is everybody that is doing something they should not be doing, are the ones that are causing the problems. On both sides of the issue. Such a dilemma. I sure would not want to be the agent who made the choice about Willie. He is not too smart.

Sep 13th 2010 4:44PM This is a no brainer. One needs to pay150%attention when driving.,especially in this day and age. At 60 mph one cannot think fast enough to avoid an obstacle close up.. I do not care how fast you think you can think your not going to be that good. Slow down. Better safe than sorry. Freeways are a death trap to the best of us. Too many cars,too many people, too fast. The fact that you could kill yourself is compounded by the fact you may take innocent people with you. Larry in Texas.
