Cruise Line Extra Charges Can Easily Double The Price {Gadling}
Sep 15th 2012 10:36AM I can understand where you're coming from. What we've found from cruising is the variety of ships that cater to different people and age groups. The most relaxing cruise I've had was with Holland. The passengers were older and there weren't a bunch of little kids ot teenagers running around like there is with Carnival or Royal. Went to Aruba on Holland and the trip coming home was the best experience and relaxing I ever had. I was stress free the entire trip. The worst trip was stopping in 5 ports in 7 days. I'm not young anymore and I found it too stressful geting off and back on the ship within the allotted time frame we had in each port. I came home more stressed out than when I left. Have a cruise scheduled in Janurary to take a 14 day cruise to Hawaii on Princess. I'm hoping it turns out as well as the Holland. You should really give Holland a try before giving up on cruising.
Octomom Brings 9 of Her Kids Along for Chaotic 'TODAY' Visit (Video) {PopEater}
Jul 9th 2011 11:34AM The kids are really cute. Something that struck me funny though is how different they are in their looks. Some are blue eyed with blond hair, others with dark hair and eyes. I guess not knowing the genetic makeup of the donor father, he must be fair haired. Hope they grow up happy and healthy. BTW, she doesn't look anything like Angelina Jolie.
Tan Carefully -- I Survived Malignant Melanoma {Lemondrop}
Aug 28th 2009 7:16PM Please think twice about tanning. I was using a tanning bed so I could be skin conditioned for an upcoming cruise. I didn't want to burn and wanted a little color ( Blond hair - blue eyes - light to medium complexion). I went tanning but only for 5 minutes at a time every 3 days for a few weeks. Several months later I noticed a tiny black spot on my upper thigh. I kept an eye on it, but when it got bigger I made the appointment to have it checked. I had it removed. Then I got the call. I had to go again and have my skin cut only deeper and longer. Now I have this very ugly scar as a reminder to take care of my skin which includes no tanning. I hear the comments "you're so pale" but at least I'm healthy.
