Ori Feibush, Philadelphia Real Estate Developer, in Hot Water After Refurbishing City's Vacant Lot {AOL Real Estate}

Sep 21st 2012 12:51PM ok, so yes, the guy did trespass. However, he improved the entire neighborhood by doing so. He should get the keys to the city! Give him the deed to the land (for the $20,00 he put into it) and let him maintain it! He has certainly done better than the city!

HOA Forces Family to Remove Disabled Child's 'Therapy Home' {AOL Real Estate}

Dec 16th 2011 10:07PM Exactly. I most certainly would not be opposed to having this delightful little structure in my development. I have 2 kids, 5 grandkids, and I have taught over 2,000 students. I have had lots of kids like this little guy. However, the fact remains, when you buy in an area that has an HOA, you have to abide by the rules! If you don't like them, don't buy there!

HOA Forces Family to Remove Disabled Child's 'Therapy Home' {AOL Real Estate}

Dec 16th 2011 4:07PM When you buy a home where there is an HOA, you receive the rules and regulations, as well as the information on dues, before you purchase the home. If you don't agree with those rules, why would you purchase the home? Personally, I am thankful that our HOA exists. When a neighbor decided she no longer needed to mow the (foot-high) lawn, the HOA send a crew in to do it. If you don't want to abide by the rules, buy a piece of property out in the country and do as you wish!

Will Baby Boomers Rock the Housing Market? {AOL Real Estate}

Sep 17th 2011 10:47PM We are currently in NY, and have also recently purchased a home in Citrus County, FL. (The name of the town is Homosassa.) We bought a five-year-old home for $48,000. It sold new in 2006 for three times that. The area is growing and seems quite stable, despite the depressed housing market. We had a home here in Western NY that sold for about $20,000 below its assessed value. At the time we sold, our total taxes were $7,200 on a $150k house. Our total taxes on the Florida house are $1,400. You are so right--the Northeast has high taxes, and the winters suck! No more winters for us!

8-Year-Old Removed From Class for Using Olive Oil Hair Product {BV Black Spin}

Jun 7th 2010 11:02PM The fact is, administration can move a child at will without consulting the parents OR the teacher! This is the END of the school year; if the teacher had any intention of discriminating against this child, why would she have waited until now???

Love Needs to Conquer All for Lynda and Richard Petty {Fanhouse Motorsports Blog}

Feb 13th 2010 8:29PM I have spoken with Lynda on more than one occasion at a business where I used to work. She is a very gracious Southern lady. I hope she beats this cancer!
