The school system idiots who cannot tolerate the slightest differences in appearance between studnets are not fit to teach anyone, precisely because they have no imagination, and insist that kids look, think, and act in a rigid fashion which crushes any notion of creative thought. People with power always have rationalizations for why they should be able to get revenge when you tell them, in one fashion or another, that they are idiots.

Feb 20th 2009 4:36PM I am so sick and tired of Robin Roberts' endless narcissism. All I want to hear from her in the morning is the NEWS. I'm sorry she had cancer, but I really have lost interest in GMA's endless stories about her cancer, her hair loss, her song about her hair loss; her family in the hurricane zone; the recording of HER call to 911 about the airplane that ditched in the Hudson; the dress she should wear; and her endless self-references. I am just waiting for my regularly scheduled programming to be interrupted by the "Robin Roberts Bowel Bulletin".

Jan 21st 2008 7:59PM There was an alcoholic judge in Richmond, Virginia who would regularly chew ice on the bench, apparently because his alcohol intake dehydrated him...The number of alcoholic judges who are tolerated on the bench is astounding to me; it's probably because their typical punitive/rigid personalities mesh well with the political atmosphere in Virginia.

Jul 23rd 2007 9:51PM Anyone who believes that according to Judaism, "God favors them over all others" doesn't know what they are talking about. Judaism has an amazingly universalistic outlook, in that Judaism posits that any people that follow the Noahide laws and believe in one God get into heaven. Maimonides even stated that a Jew may worship in a mosque (although I'm not quite sure how Muslims feel about that). Judaism has no trouble acknowledging that a good Muslim or Christian will experience a positive afterlife before a bad Jew. Show me another major religion that has this outlook.

Politeness on Planes {Gadling}
Sep 2nd 2006 8:41PM I'm 6'3", and I'm sick and tired of people in front of me slamming there seats into my knees without warning - often resulting in a yelp of pain from me, which is invariably completely ignored by the offending a-hole in front of me. It's at times like that that I understand "air rage." Furhtermore, some of those in front who are seemingly more polite - easing their seats back slowly - will use extra strength to try to force the seat back after they hit resistance from my knees. I'd like to knock the crap out of 'em.
