Top American Destinations To Avoid In 2013 {Gadling}

Jan 9th 2013 4:33AM Tucson, AZ should be on the list of cities to avoid.
It is dirty, dry and unrelentingly hot most of the time. So dry and hot your skin dries up and peels off and your nose bleeds.
Boring place, mostly retirees and college students. And lots of crazies. Gun crazy, right wing tea bagging crazies.
Nothing good happens in Tucson. The real estate market crashed and is down 50% and has been that way since 2006.
The police are hostile to drivers with out of state plates and give tickets when there is no law broken. The police are abusive.
Prices are high, based on California prices I think.
I can't think of anythnig to recommend about Tucson except stay away.

How To Find The Best Food While On The Road For Business {Gadling}

Sep 16th 2012 9:04PM NEVER trust Yelp. They are bogus, they have their own agenda and it is not to tell the truth. I know this first hand.

The Word 'Retard': Stop Using It {ParentDish}

Mar 6th 2011 1:04PM Words are just words. We have freedom of speech to choose the words we want to use. Take care of your own speech and let others do the same. There is entirely too many people trying to set rules and tell other people what to do. These people are meddlers, uptight, and have way too much free time they could be using constructively to be useful instead of being chattering scolds,

Friend: Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp Are Serious {PopEater}

Jan 5th 2011 2:31PM Meg and John, what a sad couple. They are"serious," they look like drug addicts who have been out on the streets for 40 years. Really sad to see what has happened to Meg Ryan. John was probably always a freak. To call them "trailer trash" is unkind to people who live in trailers. They are two unfortunate people who are living sad lives. They look as though they haven't had a bath or washed their clothes in a long time. It is better we look away and remember Meg as the cute young thing she was years ago.

New Town, No Pals? Why It's Harder to Find a BFF As a Grown-Up {Lemondrop}

Jul 15th 2010 1:34AM I liked your intelligent reply. I am female, a native Houstonian, and always have time for another friend. We may have similar interests. I volunteer to do publicity for a symphony, travel around Texas, garden, read, write, dance.
If you live in Houston or nearby, we could meet for coffee and see if we might become friends.
Don't give up on finding friends. I know it is hard, it is almost by accident you find a good friend.

BB&T reportedly makes deal for troubled Colonial Bank {Daily Finance}

Aug 14th 2009 6:54PM Interesting points about the Federal Reserve Act. Banks and big, criminal corporations are destroying our country, I agree. They own our politicians.
But I thought Lincolm was shot by a minor stage actor, not a banker. I thought his name was Mudd, not Rothchilds.
