Another Baby Dies in a Drop-Side Crib; Company Blames the Parents {WalletPop}
Jan 20th 2010 12:40PM I am in the baby furniturte industry, operating a smaller boutique type store with higher end brands. I have sold drop side cribs for decades with little or no incidents. I think we are seeing "you get what you pay for." Most of the millions of cribs recalled were very low end cribs sold at big box stores. If you spend $120 on a crib (figure the manufacturer, distributor, and retailer all have to make money on it) you can expect that you are getting one big piece of garbage. Granted if its allowed to be sold, then it should be safe, but unfortunately that always doesnt hold true.
Drop side cribs have been around for 100 years but only recently have we heard of these incidents. Why? well consumers are always looking for the lowest prices, and these manufacturers keep cutting corners to make more profit, because retailers like walmart keep squeezing them for markdown money, etc.
Consumers should do their own research and use common sense as well. I mean why would you want to put your child in the least expensive item you could find?
And yes more and more product keeps coming out of ASIA, but whose fault is that? We, The American Consumer, thats who. In our never ending search for the lowest prices. Look in the mirror, we (collectively) are to blame. Even many products made in the US are no longer as high quality as they once were.
OJ scandal! Has American Airlines lost their minds? {Gadling}
Dec 12th 2009 1:50PM For those that say that flight attendants are not there to serve passengers and are there to enforce safety only, are the flight attendants on HOOTERS air also there to enforce safety as well, not serve drinks and get pillows blankets?
Obviously, it is a combination of both. Flight attendants are there to enforce safety as well as provide customers service to passengers. If not, you could hire a couple of security guards and have customers bring their own food and drinks on board (which most of us do already)

Married Men Kindly Request Reggie Miller Stop Flirting With Their Wives {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Aug 13th 2009 4:24PM Some of you have the story right, most dont. This whore was playing both sides. She wanted her fiancees billions and Miller's meat popsicle. Miller has very revealing photos of this woman which SHE emailed him so she obviously was having some kind of relationship with Miller.
When the hubby found out, she cried stalking. She figured money outweighs sex and sided with the billionaire, but he should wake up cuz she's a gold-digging who-wahh
