Sep 16th 2012 10:54PM I always tell that i got the recommendation from a specific concierge so they know there will be feedback. I maybe a one time tourist, but the concierge is future recommendations. If I tell the concierge the service was bad, his tip suffers and future recommendations dry up.

Apple's new low: censoring a dictionary {Engadget}

Aug 6th 2009 9:27PM Lots of dictionarys are Bowdlerized (some one took out what they thought was offensive).
The old Franklin electronic dictionary and a bunch of spell check versions didn't include the word fart. Years ago Webster's New Collegiate had an Introduction that said dictionarys describe word usage not Proscribe it. And the next paragraph admitted they left out many words that could be called ethnic slurs or referred to excretory functions, because they were happily falling out of use or everybody knew what they ment. The word "and" still took three column inches.

Some dictionarys are supposed to contain errors that are intended to be proof if another campany copies the entries.
