Feb 21st 2013 11:28PM The entrance fees,as they are, are not enough? Maybe the NPS should be self suffiecient. The parks may be less crowded, less human impact, and more enjoyable.
Dec 16th 2012 8:02PM Being stationed in Ft. Bliss in 1978, I knew a few Kuwait and Jordan soldiers. I've seen wall lockers with loaves of bread, and stacks of bread on thier plates in the chow hall. They don't have white bread in the middle east and never knew what they were missing. They love the stuff that we take for granted.
Sep 28th 2011 11:06AM The low mortage rates are a little misleading, unless you stay in your home for a while. I believe the way most mortage payments work as your payments start, 10% goes to principle and 90% is intrest, which reverses toward the end of the term. Money is thrown away to the bank, at first. Toward the end of the term, the bank may call, perhaps with a deal, to pay your mortage off early, for you virtually have a cheap loan. Considering the average length of home ownership is 6 years, banks generally do pretty good.
Sep 22nd 2011 8:16PM In the Sacramento area, they're having problems selling (or renting) property. The next door nieghbor displays a Nazi flag on his window. Within the past month.
Jul 12th 2011 11:19AM Clap your hands right above the fly. They'll fly right into it. Flies are quick with one object toward them but are confused with the two. It worked yesterday. Don't forget to wash your hands.
Apr 26th 2011 11:25PM Yeast chow down on the sugar which turns into alcohol, which I believe is yeast pee. Most of the yeast poo is left behind in the fermenter. Carbon dioxide is also produced, I'm not sure if it's yeast burp or fart. I've made beer, similar to wine
Apr 17th 2011 11:44PM Just type "do the dishes" and press 'Enter'.
Mar 5th 2011 4:39PM Just compared stats. Lower corporate tax rate states have the lowest unemployment. A notable exception is Nevada. Looks like high unemployment states must raise corporate taxes to pay for unemployment benefits. Somebody I know lost her job, and receiving unemployment, because the company moved from California to Tennessee because perhaps of this.
Jan 30th 2011 7:05PM My dad was difficult to live with which motivated me to be self reliant, conditons that I must live by because "I was living under his roof".
No way was I going to be a crumb bum 24 year old living under my parents (dads) roof. I was looking foreward to getting out of the house, to take control and charge of my life so I can live free, it's not for free, but I'll take it.
Being a difficult parent might help empty the nest.
