Plane Answers: A heavy question {Gadling}
Aug 4th 2009 4:40PM Soon after 9-11, a (heavy) I believe, enroute to Dominican Republic, went down in Queens, N.Y. Apparently, it was caught in the wake of a JAL 747, also departing from same NYC airport. I believe it was an Airbus, as was the plane going down off coast of South America enroute to U.S., fairly recently. Did these two Heavies share similiar fates under different circumstances? Thank you.
