The Fish You Should (and Shouldn't) Be Eating Right Now {Kitchen Daily}
Apr 9th 2011 9:36PM Farmed salmon eat 3 times their weight in fish? I'm sure wild salmon eat a lot more than that! Furthermore, farmed salmon require less energy, injury-riks, and market-risk to harvest, and--speaking as a cook--are fattier and tastier and absorb seasonings better. I've been a farmed Atlantic salmon fan for ten years and hope that the price will drop again soon!
Facing a Long Shot Re-election Bid, Sen. Chris Dodd Folds His Cards {Politics Daily}
Jan 8th 2010 6:58AM As Dodd declared in an elegantly crafted statement, "None of us are irreplaceable. None of us are indispensable. Those who think otherwise are dangerous."

An "elegantly crafted statement" would at least have been grammatical. "None" takes a singular verb.
Silly Questions, Serious Interview {AOL Jobs}
Nov 1st 2009 7:06PM The point about the relevance of the applicant's having mastered spelling and grammar is well taken. Note this flub from the (underqualified?) author of the original story:
"Guess who's answer got them the job?"
"who's" is incorrect. "whose" is conventional.
Where's my economic stimulus check? {WalletPop}
May 9th 2008 5:55PM . . . will do literally nothing to stimulate this stagnant and sputtering economy . . .
a little metaphor-adjustment wouldn't hurt here.
Alcatraz torn down to make way for peace center? {Gadling}
Feb 6th 2008 10:02PM Can't do that until they find a way to solve the problem that closed it as a federal prison--an economical way to dispose of the sewage without violating EPA regs.
News Flash: Men hate baby doll dresses {Stylelist (Main)}
Jun 23rd 2007 10:14AM If by "baby-doll" dresses, you mean "empire waist" dresses, you're mistaken; we adore them and the women in them. I don't agree that they make women look pregnant, although they do convey a nuance of fertility, placing a mystery about the womb. No, they don't outline the derriere, but they suggest it enchantingly when a woman walks. As beautiful as a slim, curvy woman looks with a robe gathered below her breasts, empire waisted dresses can be quite delightful on women on the full-figured side, as well. It's a very appealing fashion.
Under the knife but below the belt {Stylelist (Main)}
Oct 28th 2006 12:05PM Uh . . . let's take note that Mr. Spencer was not making a point about Ms. Rodham Clinton's ugliness; only that she appeared to him to have undergone beautification treatments. He's attacking character (as he and certain voters may see it); not personal beauty. He is, in short, attempting an identification with her and Michael Jackson.
Best if used by ... {Slashfood}
Oct 6th 2006 10:42AM Let's bear in mind that many people who claim they have trouble keeping milk fresh leave the carton on the table throughout a meal, instead of removing it from the fridge, to fill glasses, for mere seconds at a time. Milk is very sensitive to exposure to room-temperature, and every second it is exposed deteriorates its longevity.
Is your teen ordering alcohol online? {ParentDish}
Aug 30th 2006 4:15PM Is it possible this survey was paid for by the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America? They were agitating hard against the enabling legislation, so they could keep control over distribution from the encroachment of Internet sales.
