Video: Bradley Cooper Joins Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's Stand Against Human Trafficking {PopEater}
Apr 11th 2011 11:37AM Uh, I am glad these guys are opposed to child sexual slavery ( or slavery of any sort, I should hope). But this seems way too light and silly, and if it's meant as a deterrent ( Jump on the "I don't buy little girls" bandwagon), how's that going to work? I doubt that any perverted sicko will change his ways because of this. I don't get the point.
New Wife, New Kitchen {Shelterpop}
Mar 27th 2011 10:44AM Nice job, but the before pics remind me of my kitchen AFTER remodeling! I love my orange countertops and don't really like cold sterile looking kitchens. But everyone to his taste.
Leading Experts Rethinking Food Allergy Causes {ParentDish}
Feb 11th 2011 2:09PM Wow...that is even more extreme than the experiences I've had in Toronto. That's why I wonder about hysteria. It does seem that if a child is so allergic that the residue of peanut oil left on a door knob could cause death (as stated in a parent information note sent home from my grandson's school), he or she should be kept safe at home in a nut-free environment.
I am still waiting for an explanation as to why children in one community are so much more allergic than those elsewhere. It doesn't make sense.

Feb 11th 2011 12:17PM Stephanie,
Where in the world do you live to have so many serious incidents?
I have not heard of even ONE in my area. Are our kids immune?

Leading Experts Rethinking Food Allergy Causes {ParentDish}
Feb 11th 2011 10:37AM I am perplexed about this peanut allergy thing. My grandson who lives in Toronto goes to schools where NO peanut products of any kind are allowed. He can't even take his own peanut butter sandwich to school for lunch. If you bring cupcakes for a party, they must be sealed and labeled as having been made in a peanut free environment. I certainly respect the fact that some kids are severely allergic to peanuts, but after having taught 30 years I wonder that I never ran into any child so severely allergic to peanuts that the whole community had to ban nuts. We served peanut butter cookies and every other kid had peanut butter sandwiches. Our schools still have no ban on peanuts and I haven't heard of a single child suffering for it. So is this epidemic caused by some mysterious onset of widespread peanut allergies or simply hysteria?
Family Dog Leads Police to Missing Autistic Boy {Pawnation OLD}
Feb 1st 2011 7:28PM My grandson is not autistic and got away from 3 adults in a large fast food store. I mean he was there one second and then gone. The place was huge, having three floors and I ran upstairs first. My husband ran downstairs. After about five (it felt like five hours) frantic heart stopping minutes I found him crouched under a table..." I found us a table, Grandma," he said. None of the other patrons sitting nearby said a word, strangely enough. I just happened to catch sight of his bright shirt. It was terrifying and we all felt like fools to have lost him. It can happen so quickly.

Top 100 Classic Rock Songs -- Part Five of Five {AOL Radio Blog}
Oct 16th 2010 2:34PM I think people who love Pink Floyd hate Bruce Springsteen and vice-versa. Had a classic radio station here that played PF all the time and never Bruce. I guess it's a genetic think.
