Feb 22nd 2010 2:28PM I always understood that he did do his time as first sentenced by the judge and I think it was forty days but not sure...then when he was on his way to court to dispose of the case he found out that the judge had reneged on the agreement and was preparing to sentence him to more time...so in essence the judge was going to invalidate the agreement and send him back to jail and that was when he bolted!! So he did serve time and he did pay a fine but the laws were different then...plus the woman wants it to be over...but I can totally go see a Polanski movie and not think about it at all...guess I am just not as outraged as everyone else...so long ago and far away!!
