Jan 27th 2010 1:10PM I was born in Arkansas and raised in Texas. I love my sweet tea and so does my New Yorker husband! I have never heard of anyone down here makin' their tea that way. I use my clean coffee pot to make my tea. Here's the recipe, nothin' to it:
4 Family Sized Luzzianne Tea Bags
1 cup sugar or Splenda (for Diabetics)
1 small orange, sliced with peel on (optional)
Pull tags off bags and place in brew basket, fill carafe to 10 or 12 with water and pour into coffee maker. Turn to brew. In a 1 gallon pitcher, pour in 1 cup sugar or Splenda. If you want to use the orange slices go ahead and put those in now on top of the sugar. When tea is finished brewing, Pour into pitcher, fill carafe all the way again with cold water and pour in pitcher. Stir well. Fill tall glass with ice and tea and drink immediately! The first glass is the best. Place pitcher in fridge. Tea will get a little sweeter as it cools.

Jul 24th 2009 7:24PM Yea, it must be nice not to have anything better to do with your time than to complain about the weinermobile coming to visit. People get so offended and let the tiniest little superficial things get to them now days. Pretty soon no one will be able to say "Hi" to another person walking down the street because it might offend someone else. Oh my, people really need to get a life and mind there own business! That weinermobile didn't hurt anything, besides your stuck up attitude.

Jul 23rd 2009 2:57AM I've said this a thousand times before and I'll say it again...This world is going to h*ll in a handbasket. All the crap the going on like sueing mickey d's for hot coffee and chzburgers that make you fat, and a burglar breaking into someones home and getting hurt then sueing the homeowners and winning. What in the world is this place coming to? People get offended over "Merry Christmas", saying God in public and over FICTIONAL movie called "Orphan." Holy moley, There are ALOT of different people in on this earth and about 60% of them need to get over themselves!!! Cause all this crap is getting way out of control and utterly redamndiculous!!!!
