If he sets a timeline for 2011 and begins withdrawing troops, he can say "look what I'm doing" when he starts campaigning for 2012. Because Americans have such short attention spans, we'll say "oooh...ahhh, what a wonderful president. I think I'll vote for him." We can only HOPE that death tolls won't begin to rise when the draw down begins.

Dec 6th 2009 8:38PM Is your name Tspoon 'cause that's what you're cooking your crack in? Obama might have "inherrited" a mess, but he's managed to make it exponentially larger. We are not in an "attack mode" as you stated, but in a defense mode. Until we get out of a politically correct mode and accept radical muslims for what they are, we will continue to be fighting this battle. We are trying to appease too many damn people! And with the current leadership trying to establish their czarist regime, they are not concerned about creating you or anyone else a job (unless you are one of the chosen). Lot's of talk. Destroying the economy with bailouts and health "reform" is eliminating jobs. Think back when Hillary affected change with healthcare when Bill was in office. Talk to those that worked in the field and walked away from jobs because of "reform". It will be 10 times worse, if not more. It will take Obama 8 years to accomplish "his" task. The one promise he will try to keep. Let's HOPE he doesn't get the chance. We may not have the opportunity to elect someone else if free elections are taken away by 2012. Hopefully, in 4 years you won't forget how good the "Bush years" were. Like all those who forgot how great and prosperous the Reagan years were. If you are old enough, compare where we're at now with the Carter years. If not, read a history book.

You actually have to have done something in the Senate to be able to quit! Sarah resigned because of all the rediculous law suits the state democrats kept filing. It was an incredible waste of state resources and the individuals should have had to foot the bill out of their pocket. She's beat one and they would file another. And she DID accomplish something as a Gov. Now she has time to be a community organizer so she can build her presidential credentials. :)

I'm surprised that someone as fond of the pres would use such a non-PC, racist term as you have used to describe the pres! Shocking! While the term has come to represent mixed breed, it derives from the Spanish or Portugese meaning young mule. Almost as offensive as another word. Please refrain from using the term in open forum.
As far as his intelligence, where are they keeping it? If they are hiding it from him, they need to give it back. There is not a politician in DC that appears to have ever taken an economics class or business managment class. If they had they would understand we can not keep operating like we are.

Proudly, I am one of the 99%rs-a law abiding biker. I just like to ride my Harley; rain or shine, I ride. And I don't look down on those who choose to ride other bikes. I'll own a HD until I can no longer climb on one. I just might buy a second or third bike that may or may not be a HD. Hell...I don't even look down on those that claim to be 1%rs.
