Cops scamming tourists at Bangkok airport {Gadling}

Jul 22nd 2009 2:23PM I have had a similar experience but in Mexico City by a Taxi Driver and Police Officer. the Police Officer pulled my Taxi over for a violation of some sort ... I as the passenger had to pay the fine to the Police Officer. I have no doubt it was a set up between the two. This was on my first day of a weeks trade mission organised by the UK Embassy.
