AOL Mystery Flyer: Delta Airlines Report Card {AOL Travel News}

May 29th 2010 7:37AM I HATE DELTA. They are rude, yakky FAs and cater to businessmen. I actually saw their Medallion custs knock over both an old lady and a woman w/baby on the ramp down to plane. I ran back, told agent, who ran to help. I told both custs that I hope they sued the airline. Last I heard, they were offering both free, coast2coast flights. I had ASKED the agent, Shouldn't you pre-board them? Her answer, "We DON'T HAVE to; it's at our discretion." Some discretion. When serving softdrinks, many times I've seen the FAs lean over to expose breasts, obviously, to men. It's disgusting and frequent. I drive 3 1/2 hrs to RDU, just to fly Southwest, instead of 15 mins to use Delta.

Aug 25th 2006 12:41AM Flying home on Malev airlines,a communist airline, we ran out of water, sodas, food etc;toilets stopped up, an earache from low pressure & high altitude;movie didn't work; coffee burned & stunk up cabin. Circled NewFoundland for 3 hrs;late taking off, of course,the staff yakked the whole time, were rude & condescending; air conditioning faulty and it got steamy! flight full to the gills and we were TOLD we couldn't use the toilets.Got up to go to toilets cause got my period.Told to sit down and I had to suggest results if I didn't go potty. Circled JFK 4 hrs and were 7 hrs late. People RAN off that plane to the restrooms and some almost didn't make it to the bathrooms. Men unzipped their pants WHILE running. Women who encountered lines PUSHED their way through with NO apologies, just told people what happened as they relieved themselves.TRUE TRUE

Aug 25th 2006 12:05AM I was waiting to board my Delta flight from SEA to SLC. There was an announcement for the Medallion clients to board. I saw that an old lady, a lady w/toddler & baby in arms were not pre=boarded. When I asked the boarding agent about this, I was told (with attitude) OH WE DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT. I was stunned and boarded with the lady w/toddler&baby in arms. The Medallion businessmen complained about the wait and RAN FULL TILT DOWN THE BOARDWAY. They literally slammed me, the lady & the babies. The Mom's knee gave way and she fell. I caught her elbow to ease the fall and she threw the baby to her friend. I yelled and NO ONE CAME OR HELPED; NO ONE. And all around us were these Medallion maniacs running by us!! I strode back, told the agent a woman fell and hoped Delta had damn good insurance, cause if I HAD BEEN THE WOMAN, I'D SUE THE HELL OUT OF THEM. The young agent went white, dashed in and shouted for another agent to help her. I watched & as they helped her out, they shoved a free, Coast-to=Coast ticket at her with apologies. The Medics were there along w/her friend. She was sobbing in shock and pain; the toddler crying; baby crying. I looked at the smart ass agent and said, Maybe you SHOULD PRE-BOARD them next time. She looked tres scared. True story. True. Oh by the way, they are allowed to have "discretion" re pre-boarding. I saw this same type of cattle call in Phoenix also and called it to the gate attendant who actually SLOWED guys down, God Bless him. True. I drive 4 hrs to RDU to take Southwest instead of Delta, and not just cause of the low fares.
