Jun 13th 2012 8:47AM Really? Come on...that interview sounded like it was conducted by an 8-year old. What adult comes up with questions like "Dude how creepy is it by the tanks w/ no lights? Oh my god, just thinking about being by a shark tank in the dark just makes me want to cry!"?? Unbelieveable. Honestly...it was as if FOX was doing the story. Childish, incomplete, uninformative, and just plain pointless. This could have been a pretty good human interest story if it were handled in a bit more adult fashion.

Feb 2nd 2011 12:51PM So wait...let me get this straight. Jennifer Lopez is pissed off that all the attention is not on HER? Um...excuse me, but I thought this show was about the next American Idol. I was under the impression that the attention should be focused on the contestants, not the judges. By Jennifer whining that it's not "all about her", it tells me that she's not in it for the contestants, she's in it for herself...and to me, that's just not right. Who cares which judge they pay more attention to? At the end of the day, attention to the one that is voted the next American Idol is the only attention worthy of being counted. Wipe your nose, dust yourself off, and do the job you were hired to do...in other words...GROW UP.

Jan 10th 2011 1:21PM Whoever said "mercury" was the cause, has a point. There are many things that contain mercury that are found naturally (ie seafood) and many things that mercury or it's derivatives are added to. Read up on high fructose corn syrup people. It's been heavily added to foods for about 20 years now...coincidental that the rise in autism mirrors this addition? No. HFCS contains mercury. It is not a "natural" substance. Cornstarch has to go through a lengthy process chemically to render it the supposed "safe" sweetener that is dirt cheap in comparison to sugar. I could go on for DAYS about this subject, but I won't. Just remember: it is not the same as sugar, no matter what anyone tells you, your body doesnt recognize it and has no clue what to do with it. Read up on it!

Jan 9th 2011 8:08AM Starbucks coffee is nasty! The only thing it's good for is painting the side of a barn, or varnishing wood furniture. One small cup of their average cup of coffee would equal at least three cups of coffee for me...it is WAY too strong. No matter which brew you pick, they brew it WAY too dark and strong. It's horrible. Dunkin Donuts coffee is better than Starbucks, hands down. However, Seattle's best is the by far the absolute winner for coffee taste, strength and quality. Starbucks just needs to go away. Nothing in their store stands out as superior to any other products found in other places. It's high-priced, snobbish, foo foo food and drink....it's more about status and pretense than taste or value.

If people would just learn to spell, instead of worrying about ridiculous things, they wouldn't look so ridiculous. Good grief...where has caring about how you present yourself gone? Where have morals, decency, education, and self-pride gone? I see people with their pants down to their knees, I hear people using coarse, crass and vulgar language in public, I see people spitting on the street...I just want to scream! The human race is turning back into their ancestral animalistic behaviors. Aren't we supposed to be civilized? I don't see much evidence of that anymore. You all might as well name your children Ug...since Neanderthals are what people are reverting to...

Dec 2nd 2009 8:29AM When my oldest son was in second grade, I got a call from the teacher telling me that my son said that we had "old rotten potatoes" the night before for dinner. I had to think a minute and realized what he meant. I explained to her that I believe he just had trouble saying that we had "AU GRATIN POTATOES". He's now 25, but we still joke about it.

Nov 11th 2009 1:04PM Mary, you win the prize! You are correct in the fact that high fructose syrup is a horrible chemical disguised falsely as "sugar". That stuff makes me ill and it took me a few years of heartburn to realize what was doing it. HFCS causes everything from digestive disorders, to diabetes (metabolic syndrome), to dementia. It tricks your brain into making you think you aren't full, and actually makes you crave MORE of the stuff. EVERYONE should refuse to consume this chemical and demand that the food manufacturers use real sweetners (sugar, honey, molasses) in ALL products.

Nov 3rd 2009 4:27PM Um, hate to break it to ya, but Sweden is NOT in the UK. Sweden is in Europe. The UK (United Kingdom), consists ONLY of England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland.
As for my take on the accent subject, British English is the absolute sexiest in the world, followed closely by Scottish.

His teeth are pearly white and perfectly straight...so talk what YOU know! God, I hate it when people pick out a whole group of people and say that they're ALL like that! There are good and bad traits in EVERY group or nationality of people.
