More Young Couples Say 'I Do' to Buying a Home Before Marriage {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 22nd 2013 2:00AM Wedding bands don't make a marriage. A marriage is a partnership. Ensueing absolute trust. It will have shortfalls and disagreements. Like the saying goes, "Only the strong survive." It seems to me that weaker people fall for the offer of divorce. Unwilling to work through a legal binding contract. On the other hand it seems to me that the gay community seems to embrace the tenets of a wedding. Who would have figured since many viewed the gay lifestyle as promiscuous. Never assume anything.................

Soldier Brandon Weir Must Take Down American Flag, HOA Demands {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 28th 2013 4:23PM It's an old story, whether to follow the letter of the law, or the spirit of the law. Everyone knows that rules are meant to be broken. Even our Constitution has Amendments . In my day they called US Military personel returning from Viet Nam baby killers. There are always exceptions, but little did these fools realize that it was the children of Vietnam who kept me alive. Cut the guy a break, send your kid into a conflict, then you may realize how important our Flag is.

Sequestration Will Have Deep Impact On National Parks {Gadling}

Feb 21st 2013 6:27PM There is a simple solution, why allow our government to be the employer? Or in the entertainment business. Bid it out to independent operaters. Allow small business to take over the operations>>>>>>>>>>>

Roberto Gonzalez Broche's 'Doomsday Bunker' Was Made of Stolen Trailers, Police Say {AOL Real Estate}

Sep 14th 2012 10:20AM So he wanted to live in a concrete bunker, say 8x8, free food, never see daylight.
I understand Raiford State Prison has such an arangment.

Mezuzah Case: Condo Association Bylaw vs. Jewish Practice {AOL Real Estate}

Mar 29th 2012 10:09PM Is it co-incidence that I had a couple of Bible Thumpers at my door today, Ignorant enough not to know what a Mezuzah is, or arrogant enough to expect me to listen to there horseshit. All they really want is my money, maybe sympathy; conversion? At least in my religion we don't advocate converts.Nor do we pass a plate or hat. Enough of my ancestors have suffered at the aspirations of these religious [expletive] who want to push there dogma on me. We have no Popes, Bishops,Priests,religious heads or leaders for a reason.We do have neighborhood Rabbi's or Rebbe's [Rebels]. We have advocated freedoms for the millenniums. One of my hero's, Read about Judah Benjamin

Was Ryan Seacrest offensive to Oscar nominee Demian Bichir? {Celestrellas}

Feb 27th 2012 10:18PM Cantinflas did the Moonwalk 30 years before MJ. He was a Mexican comedian and actor who deserved an Honary Oscar a long time ago.

World's worst places: Top 10 places you do not want to visit in 2012 {Gadling}

Jan 7th 2012 8:09AM If you got the finances,it's nice to travel. or even dreaming of travel is a great escape. We limit our trips lately to the United States, so much to see. Third rate countries lack so much we take for granted. But as far as not visiting anywhere, we try not to visit a hospital.

The Pit Crew With Love-A-Bull - Changing People's Perceptions One 'Pittie' at a Time {Pawnation OLD}

Sep 10th 2011 10:33AM 63 Dobermans over the years, the only dog I ever got bit by was a miniture poodle. I now believe in older rescued dogs. Too much inbreeding of pedegrees and a dog knows and appreciates it that you resued it, and will offer unconditional love..
Rule 1. If a dogs jaws come down on your arm, don't pull away.You will rip yourself on the canines. 2. Never stare down a dog or look directly at a unknown dog, it's a challenge. 3 Never lift your arms, the dog will jump on you thinking you have a ball or treat. 4 Put the back of your hand out for a sniff, never a finger, it looks like a hot dog, never the palm up unless you have a treat and know the dog. 5 If really feeling threatened Yell at the dog a command like go home or sit!
We had Wild Florida Panther come to visit once in a while. We lived in the woods.. Don't move or stare. Even our Dobies would assume a hackled back posture and freeze. We had a neighbor who had a caged mountain lion that they fed chicken parts. You have to understand Temperament and body language to interact,and large cages do serve a purpose.

Renaming Your Rescue Dog {Pawnation OLD}

Sep 4th 2011 8:13AM One of my favorite dogs, long past was a Red Doberman male I named "Watch"[Watchdog]. If I said "Watch", people would freeze although he had a puppy temperment his whole lifetime, and even protection dogs should never be taught to be viscious . Now I have 2 rescued dogs, I use a short name for casual use, long version for when I want obedience.
My best story. After hurricane Wilma I am walking my two large retrievers, surveying the local damage. I pass 2 Sheriff Deputies guarding a damaged scene, who ask "What kind of dogs are they? I usually jokingly say White Dogs, Not to be facetious and say mutts, this time I answered "Rescued Dogs", One deputy answers me, "If you find any dead bodies, that I should let him know first." I guess in the mayhem he got Rescue confused with Rescued. Just verbage!

The Country's Biggest Tourist Trap: South of the Border {Gadling}

Jul 19th 2011 1:09AM Tourist Trap? It doesn't even compare to Disney or Orlando. A piece of Americana? yes. As good as Route 66, or any ghost town. I remember in the 50's and 60's they had live burro's [jackasses]. As good a animal attraction to a kid from Brooklyn as the dolphins[porposes] shows of the Miami Seaquarium. Run down, no just a temporary reflection of any American city where stores are boardered up and replaced by walmarts. But I read that Benny Bernanke grew up nearby, I have confidence SOB will re-emerge greater than ever. It has become a national treasure and we stop there to visit, unlike the White House you don't need to be searched or screened. I like the giant rabbit sculpture enough to have a framed picture on the wall. As good an attraction as any. Enjoy it for what it is.
