LeAnn Rimes Goes From Toned to Tiny, Says She's 'Healthy' {PopEater}
Mar 16th 2011 7:38PM It appears to be some eating disorder: anorexia, bulimia,
or Body Dysmorphic Disorder. It's difficult for those with
any of these disorders to get past the denial involved.
Sad.I hope she is willing to get some help.

Where They Ate: Authors, Eaters, and Food and Travel Writers Tell Their Favorite Eating Experiences of 2010 {Gadling}
Dec 25th 2010 6:41PM So, Frank, what IS real!? I had a wonderful meal at one of the street markets in Seoul, South Korea. My daughter-in-law (who is South Korean) told me the dish I picked out was actually a North Korean dish. It was delicious. And we had a great time. A very REAL experience for me.

Home security systems: should you have one? {WalletPop}
May 20th 2010 10:15PM Strategically placed motion detector lights, a dog, and a gun - works for me. Forget the security systems.
'Orange Is the New Black' -- I Spent a Year in a Women's Prison {Lemondrop}
Apr 13th 2010 10:49AM I agree with Ryan, Max, Sheri Kelly and unitynpeacenlove. I work in a Maximum Security Prison (for men) - it's over 100 years old. First and foremost inmates are human beings - they are more than their crimes. Unfortunately, there are no reentry programs. Some of us can help, but it is limited and restricted to those who are designated as mentally ill. Don't judge others unless you have walked a mile in their shoes.
'Is That...?' Fans Recall Their Celebrity Foodie Sightings {PopEater}
Mar 13th 2010 8:01PM Yes, Connie, you are correct .. just regular folks. And most would prefer to go unnoticed when having a dinner out. The most gracious ones will chat and sign your "what-evers" and that is class. I work too much to even realize someone may be famous. And I have seen enough folks in my psychotherapy practice to be immune to "celebrity" (for what it's worth). I hear the downside from most people. Rudeness speaks for itself and truly tells you a lot about a person...sad to say. On the other hand one should not judge others unless you have been in their position (if you really know what that might be .. which is doubtful). so just enjoy your dinner and let others enjoy theirs.

Think Looks Don't Matter? Think Again {AOL Jobs}
Dec 15th 2009 6:43PM Corey,
I, too, suffered severe damage to my left ankle and leg. After the wheelchair, walker, canes, orthotic, and 2 years of P.T. I was finally able to walk again. But I have to be careful and brisk walking as well as other exercises are out of the question.
Prior to the injury I never even weighed 100 lbs, but I am short (5'1"). I put on 60 lbs .. so I am female, short, and now, overweight! Forget wearing heels - I am lucky to be able to find proper shoes to minimize the pain and swelling. Oh yeah, now I'm "old" too. At least I have an advanced degree, but there's definitely discrimination out there: looks, age, weight, gender and disability - trying to prove that discrimination is another losing battle in our culture. Keep doing well, Corey; you definitely deserve that pay raise!
