Jun 11th 2012 5:51PM I work as a security guard that includes patrolling Garden Communities (HOA) and it's people like this that I have to deal with all friggen day... "There's someone parked in my stall", that dog is barking to loud, why are the kids playing outside making noise, that persons tv oe stero is to loud... The list goes on and on and this is during the day!! My best one I love is "Those landscapers or maintanace men are making too mush noise"!....These people have NO LIFE and the only thing they do have is to make someone elses life just as miserable as thiers!!!
Interesting thing is that even tho the HOA has rules 90% of them are Illegal in the eyes of Civil and City ordanaces!! I found this out 2 weeks ago when I had to responced to a garage sale that the HOA says is against the rules, when the police showed up they informed both myself and some of the HOA board members that it was not illegal in the county to hold a garage sale and that if anyone of us including me interfered we would be going to jail for obstruction... The cop that showed up stated that they hated dealing with HOA properties because they always thought they were above the law!!!This is why I hate dealing with these idiots!

Feb 22nd 2011 4:23PM No I do not feel bad for the kid and I aplaude to mother for doing this. It just shows she is not afraid of the Govt. coming back at her. Kids and most adults under 25 today think everything should be handed to them on a Silver Plater, this is due to all of the regulations that came out on "Child Abuse" in the 80s, where it even became illegal for the parent to "spank" thier own kid.
I remember (and still have a photo of it) as a young kid sometime in the early 70s where I had to sit out near the street and sell my toys, shoes, and clothes after I got caught stealing money from my parents. Not only that but I had my butt and hands tanned so hard for it they stung for at least 2 days.
I say let parents be parents once again and disapline thier kids as it was done in the past. Not just parents but also the teachers, how many of you older readers remember Catholic School and also the paddle that hung on the wall even in public schools? Yes I do as well as the pointer across my backside for disturbing the class. Now what happens? They're told to leave the classroom!
I may get in trouble and attacked for my comments But you know it's going to be by the young "Bleeding Heart types" frankly I don't care. I'm glad of the way I grew up it means My Parents and Teachers cared for Me!!

Also Not in Texas?? I knew about 4 guys when I was in the Army that came from different parts of Texas that told me stories of them having them as kids and the Horrors they went thru. I never went thru it and hope I never do but alot of it has to do with Hygine of both ones self and home, but can be transfered from someone else.
