Aug 17th 2010 6:50AM The very idea that "Dr. Laura" considers herself as a "therapist" is an insult to all mental health care professionals! This woman has her degree in Physical Education.
If she wants to treat mental illness, she should simply do as my husband did, which is to go to medical school, do an internship, followed by a 4 year residency, and afterward a fellowship.
Then, and ONLY then, should she call herself "Dr. Laura"!

Apr 16th 2010 11:38PM I am an admitted "snakeophobe" but DH had a couple of pet snakes before we were married. While I don't generally run screaming if I see one (unless it's very unexpected), I've never been comfortable around snakes.
When DH and I married, I kinda laid down the law that any reptiles that we kept must have legs! ;) So now we have a yard full of tortoises, which, btw, are wonderful pets!
But, whoever put that snake in the toilet should be dunked repeatedly in the Hudson River in the middle of January!

Oct 25th 2009 7:09AM All can say is SIGN ME UP! After my last miserable 17 hr nonstop coach flight to Hong Kong, I swore that I would never fly international again. Even though I know which seats to reserve, even the "best" coach seats are very uncomfortable for that length of time. Since I don't earn enough to fly Business, I would gladly pay the extra fee in order to stretch out a little, be more comfortable, and sleep!!!
