SkyMall Monday: Is the tugo rolling luggage drink holder clever or idiotic? {Gadling}

Nov 14th 2011 7:58PM I'm sure they will. Remember when we used to buy the rolling racks for our luggage, before they built in the wheels?

Discrimination on the runway: Delta's uniform sizing {Gadling}

Jul 11th 2009 1:48PM I'm old enough to remember huge discrimination against flight attendants, when they were considered glorified waitresses and hired on looks alone. So, while I'm glad that those days are gone, I do think that common sense needs to be in place for this specialized field. Size 18 is very large, I'm sorry. The only reason why size 12 is average these days is because Americans are getting fatter. Clothing sizes are actually getting smaller to appease women, so a size 12 is larger than it was a generation ago. Believe me, I'm not making this up. If you're a small sized women, it's really difficult to find small sizes because everything is cut larger these days. That's the reason for the 0's and 00's. That being said, size 18 is very generous, and airlines have every right to have weight restrictions in place. Large sized women won't agree on principle, but I've seen a lot of FLs here who absolutely agree, and their opinions should count above all.
